CITY AND SWANS AGREE BONY FEE

Here's more on the news that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs for Wilfried Bony. Swansea manager Garry Monk confirmed yesterday talks were still ongoing between the two clubs but it looks like they've reached an amount they're both happy with.

Bony is away with the Ivory Coast ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations but is expected to undergo a medical while with the national team ahead of completing the switch to Manuel Pellegrini's side.

Ogden reporting £25 Million riding to £28 Million, phenomenal business if true.

That's more like it imo. The usual British media reporting the final figure straight off! Tossers

@JamesMcManus1: Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich - none of them would go anywhere near Bony at £30m. This is 2009 Man City.

Hahahahaha

That is horseshit of the highest order. I don't know about the other teams but I can guarantee you that Real Madrid did have a sniff at Bony as Pérez has wanted a strong and technical true CF for a while and I think they might have gone for him if City had not made quick headway on this... well done Txiki/Pellers and team

this James McManus is clearly a chelsea fan who is frightened of us signing Bony (since he named Chelsea first in his list or all those big teams...

Going to start supporting the opposition team in all their group games...If IV coast are knocked out at Group Stage, I am certain Yaya and Bony will be on the bench for the Chelski game.

Isn't there some kind of generic rule, that players must be handed a certain amount time off after the tournament? Or is that up the clubs?
