Will Liverpool title win (if) be considered fluke/One off?

Re: Will Liverpool title win (if) be considered a fluke?

It was a joke them winning the CL in 2005 (whilst finishing 5th in the EPL) and it is a joke them winning the EPL this season (whilst starting off as 5th favourites).

Re: Will Liverpool title win (if) be considered a fluke?

They need 7 points from the last 3 games............. that will be unbeaten in the last 14 winning at least 13 of them.

Yes they haven't had Europe to distract them ( if they win then the defence of the title will be a very different kettle of fish )
The media love in is vomit inducing - Gerrard is an overrated player carting plenty of baggage that they overlook and the likes of Sterling will be found out next year BUT.......

You could not take that run away from them and on balance the table will not lie - still say Cardiff and Villa results early doors have dogged us all season..... could / should have been so different

Re: Will Liverpool title win (if) be considered a fluke?

Of course it won't be a fucking fluke, and it's embarrassingly cheap and bitter to even think such a thing.
Any team that wins the title after a gruelling campaign wins it on merit, even if that happens to be Liverpool or, God forbid, the rags.
If it happens, then they will have strung together 13 wins out of 14 at the business end of the season when it really matters, whereas we came unstuck, (and were lucky to get a point), against the might of Sunderland.
We all get deflected goals, dubious penalties, and whatever the fuck else excuses folk trot out to explain away the fact their team simply weren't good enough.
It's time to stop this silly sad rag-esque carping and give credit where credit's due.

Vermin, very nice thanks for that.

Fuck me 'rich', there's page after page of Blues saying good stuff about lfc but you seem to wanna focus on the odd negative post.

It was aimed at United anyway mate not Liverpool if you go back and reread it. That's how I read it anyway.
