Any team that wins the title after a gruelling campaign wins it on merit, even if that happens to be Liverpool or, God forbid, the rags.
If it happens, then they will have strung together 13 wins out of 14 at the business end of the season when it really matters, whereas we came unstuck, (and were lucky to get a point), against the might of Sunderland.
We all get deflected goals, dubious penalties, and whatever the fuck else excuses folk trot out to explain away the fact their team simply weren't good enough.
