Wolves (A) Post Match Thread

Yeah, one poor match and the guys a fcukin twat.

These people need to grow up. There's no talking to them for at least 24 hours when we drop points.

i thought wolves played really well, kept their shape, stayed in the game, and attacked when the opportunity presented itself, yes they got lucky with their goal, but nothing lucky about them getting a point, yes the surrended a lot of possession, but that can be very effective if you win the ball in the right areas, twice now i have seen them play us, and twice they have given a very good account of themselves, they will take points off lots of teams.

Ederson - 6.5 Not much to do

Walker - 5 - Going forward was no threat. Givesthe ball away a lot. Defended ok.
Kompany - 4 - Poor game all round.
Laporte - 7 - Did better than most but not really an amazing performance.
Mendy - 3 - We may have a problem here as we have a LB who is really poor at defending.

Fernandinho - 5 - Not got going this season.

Gundoghan - 5 - He’s making us notice how much we are missing KDB. Needs to improve asap.
B.Silva - 6 - Worked hard but not much came off today.
D.Silva - 6 - Did ok but with Kev missing we can’t afford him to just be average.
Sterling - 5 - Looked lively at the start but faded when we needed him.

Aguero - 5 - Took way to many touches on the ball and was running into people’s spaces.

Ederson deserves at least a 7. He made a massive save against Helder Costa at 1-1.

IT IS FOOTBALL SPEAK, how can you not understand that, we were expected to win the game and got a point, so the commentators will always say we dropped two points (not three btw) because we only got one and not three, football speak, you know like sick as a parrot, you ever seen a fucking parrot be sick ? Most sensible fans would never take 3 points for granted .The Media like to hype us up to shoot us down .

having settle down now ?? i have a feeling a point will be a good point at the end of the season when we are counting up the points for the title, scrappy game and under par and slow yes, but we have not lost our fight in getting something out of the game and that is the difference from the last 2 title defences, in we would have lost today and rolled over when the chips was down after there goal heads would have dropped and could not wait to get off the pitch

this is still a special team and we are going to places we have never been before, its young fresh and hungry and add a master manager in pep who never's settles for 2nd best, we all have to stay level headed and understand last season was a one off and stop believing in the media pressure they hype on us about last seasons, its gone to the history books, and this is a new season. new teams. new players. new results. they don't add them on from last season

The way some were performing today, given the last two games, I would think a wake up call is most necessary imo and I do believe Pep will batter them behind closed doors

You have ridiculous expectations - every game we have to be perfect and win 3/4 nil.its one game ! where we’ve got a point away against a tough side. Absolutely nothing to worry about

Thought we played well they are a good side, hit the bar 3 times with one worldy save, Their goal was handball but I didn't see it at full speed, def pen on Merlin.
