As you say, most wait till the end of their contracts before moving. A lot only sign for 2 years so it makes sesne that you're going to stay with a club for at least that long. The women's game is still being brought through in most countries and there just isn't the finances available for a transfer system to be in place either.Just looking up WSL transfer fees which never seem to be mentioned when signings announced, this is no exception. It seems that most moves are players who's contract has run out. I found Parris's fee 60k+ and 250K move is the record. Anyone know why women's transfer fees all seem so secret?

The queues at the Academy have never been substantial - until the bag searching began.
