That was and still is amazing!!!
*Tongue in cheek time*
If Pep thought Joe couldn’t come out he obviously never watched that one!!!
Is the correct answer (but possibly incorrect spelling). In which case it’s the wrong answer.Margetson

I reckon the 3-1 Home defeat to Peps Bayern was where Pep decided Joe wasn’t up to it -constantly hoofing it up and giving up possession when we couldn’t get the ball off them all night. From memory Hart signed his own death certificate in that friendly when he was told to play out from the back and repeatedly lumped it up to Aguero…..
Aguero apparently had his issues with Pep aswell early on, but knuckled down and won him around quite quickly
Whilst Dibbs is at Accrington Stanley, and doing a good job. The 2 former Welsh internationals.Margetson - was poor in goal. He came on as sub one game as an outfield player and was even worse.
Part of Southgate’s back room staff now !!

Kevin Stuhr Ellegaard. Played a few games between Seaman and James. Apart from being tall can't remember many other attributes.Martyn Margetson was pretty shocking wasn't he! There was one FA Cup game at Brentford where we won 1:0 and he seemed unbeatable, other than that he really was pretty shit most of the time.
There was a young Danish keeper in our first season at COMS looked petrified on his debut when we lost 3:0 to Leicester (as were the City fans when the ball went anywhere near him) From memory I dont think he played too many more games for us.
Is like being shit at a subject at school then ending up teaching it.Martyn margetson.
Now England goalkeeper coach.
Wow totally forgot about that!! League cup game ? Taking a punt v wycombeMargetson - was poor in goal. He came on as sub one game as an outfield player and was even worse.

David Seaman was fucking abysmal for us. Hated pretty much all our ‘well pass their heyday signings’ him, Mcpointy, Clough, Fowler etc
