When did that happen?Leeds blue to white
When did that happen?Leeds blue to white
Interesting points ,but other fans such as Leeds blue to white crystal palace white, maroon blue, red and Cardiff blue, red and probably many more have changed colour and fans have carried on going, probably we would all go if push came to shove.
We have done exactly the same with Melbourne city changed them from red to white to sky blue next season
When did that happen?
That's what I thought, they've always been white, blue and yellow in some order.
Roughly 41 years before they went all white in 1961 .from memory didn't they go all white as a tribute to real Madrid ?That's what I thought, they've always been white, blue and yellow in some order.
Juve changed from pink to their current colours in the 1890s after playing Notts County in a friendly.
City started out wearing black tops and white shorts.
They've had their current colours, white, blue and yellow, as far back as I can remember, if they had an all white kit it wasn't for very long.Roughly 41 years before they went all white in 1961 .from memory didn't they go all white as a tribute to real Madrid ?
Like we had red and black stripes in tribute to ac Milan because of Malcolm ?
Or have I dreamt that ?
Yeah they have had those colours but only started playing in white in 1961. Don revie changed it ,wonder if pep wanted us to play in barca colours how that would go down in this day and age ?They've had their current colours, white, blue and yellow, as far back as I can remember, if they had an all white kit it wasn't for very long.

Just read that Leeds changed their name from Leeds city to Leeds utd in 1920 can you imagine that ffs .Tbf I think club colours are a far bigger issue in today's game and have been since the advent of televised football so it wouldn't go down very well. Then again there's a big difference between changing to completely different colours and changing the proportions and order of the blue, white and maroon around. Although I wouldn't be happy with either scenario.
That's not the way I would put it, Leeds City put their players registrations up for auction when they were strapped for cash and were permanently banned by the FA as punishment (think it broke some anti slavery laws lol). They had to reform as Leeds United to get around the ban.Just read that Leeds changed their name from Leeds city to Leeds utd in 1920 can you imagine that ffs .
At least I've learnt something today :+)
Well never mind they wouldn't get away with that todayThat's not the way I would put it, Leeds City put their players registrations up for auction when they were strapped for cash and were permanently banned by the FA as punishment (think it broke some anti slavery laws lol). on an interesting note , do all city fans hate red coz it belongs to united ? In my religion , red is a very pure colour . We asians consider red as pure and many holy rituals are corried out in red ..so honestly i dont hate red ..but ya city for me means blue ..and that will never change .. just out of curiosity , do al lcity fn hate red just bcoz united are red ? dont u have an affinity for red due to some other aspect of your life . same for united fans ..i wonder do they all hate blue coz of city..blue is worlds fav colour after all ..and sky blue depicts purity ..colour psycology n all . so would all united , pool fans hate sky blue coz it is city's shirt colour ! i am not sure .
