It'd be nice if the first post could post all the big changes to this saga as they happened, for people who don't want to read 300+ pages.
Fuck that. If people want the knowledge they have to earn it.

Lol @ our " MASSIVE" coaching role. This is getting "MASSIVELY" out of hand. Are they taking the piss ? Our"MASSIVE" sponsors are not liking this situation. This "MASSIVE" club have to sort this "MASSIVE" shit out right away.

Fixed.... Hmmm

Let them have their fun mate. Just like "not in my lifetime" the rags favourite word will come back to haunt them and in some fucking style.

It will take some hard work from Yaya's side to come out of this smelling of roses. If (hopefully) he is playing for City next season it will be open day for the opposition fans with both chants and cakes being thrown on the pitch.
I have a vision of him banging in his first goal at the Etihad and there being complete silence except one small voice singing happy birthday.

Truth is, the whole conflict was over something so silly (a birthday cake), that's all people will remember.

All he has to do is re-commit to City and score his first goal next season. Then it will be forgotten by most fans. This didn't get anywhere near the level of Tevez saga.

Definitely. I wouldn't care much if he was sold today but to be honest, I'll forget everything after his first monster run and goal.

I think you're dead right.

I doubt the majority of City fans feel such animosity, more likely hope & expect that it's a storm in a teacup, or just a bullshit story, which is now looking more likely to be the case.

Intenet & media attract a higher number of people with extreme opinions, & some of them will probably still argue their case against Yaya even if this turns out to be complete bollocks. The media love winding up City fans & this could run all summer now because the reaction has been so stupidly agressive. If the fans had just taken it with a pinch of salt, it would be dead in no time.

Yes, the majority of us will not engage in these extreme reactions.

The macho posturing is particularly comical: Get outta my club you parasitic twat, etc.,etc. Why would anyone feel the need to express such animosity towards a player who has been responsible for so many good things at City in the past few years. It just beggars belief.
I'm starting to suspect that you're not a sink-pisser.

You can`t talk to the Bishop of Manchester like that !!!

There's only one person who owes an apology. Well two if we include you.
And stony for his offensive placard.

I reserve my right to peaceful protest.

I thought you said a tea towel ? Or is that crusty now ?

Re: Yaya Toure

That tweet has just been deleted but Qatar are like 2 hours ahead of us right? So it would have been between 2-3am where Yaya is when it was deleted

Re: Yaya Toure

So there are no bids for him from other clubs even after he made himself available for transfer and now took a u turn n is asking for a coaching role after finishing his contract roflll..Even if he stays, which he most certainly will i hope the club are not planning to give him a new improvised deal.
