NO, Hazard isen´t worth more then 30mill, Yaya is.

Hazard is worth 50 at least as he is the most talented young player in the league and more and can give Chelsea 10 years of service so 25-30 millions saved after first contract runs for not paying transfer fee for another player of similar quality.

It's no sense question as Chelsea wouldn't consider that in worst nightmare but I'd swap Yaya tomorrow for Hazard.
He´s to inconsistent to be worth 50mill, only Ronaldo, Messi and possibly Iniesta is worth that kind of money. Who cares if he´s talented it´s all about producing on the pitch and from what I´ve seen so far he isen´t worth 38mill or whatever they payed for him.

My post was definitely not written in perfect English but I guess it should be enough to understand what I thought with "he is worth 50 million at least"..

He is absolute class and he is going to own Premier League for years.. the most talented young player by some margin.

Stories connecting Chelsea with Yaya.

If true would you swap him for Hazard? I think I would.
NO, Hazard isen´t worth more then 30mill, Yaya is.
If he's going to Chelsea I'd rather we swapped him for Ashley Cole, given how exposed his departure is going to leave us at left back.
Yaya for cole? The main reason most people think we would sell him is because his age..and ud swamp him for an older player??

I just don't get it.
Yaya declares his love for us and says he wants to finish his career here, roll on a few weeks and his agent is saying more or less the complete opposite.
Who's telling the truth?

City are said to be after revamping their wage scales to include much lower basic wages , and increased bonuses linked to success ....... if that's true I shouldn't imagine the likes of Yaya are too impressed, as , with his basic wage , he'd probably have furthest to fall , and his contract talks are the thing of the moment .......

there maybe some truth to the papers story.

I don't think that's the main point here.

Main point is that his current contract ends when he's 31, and there are usually problems between clubs and players in contract talks when player is on the wrong side of 30s.

Players want to take last big payday and long contracts on top of that, clubs don't want to pay big for older players and want to secure themselves with shorter term contracts.

It's the reason Drogba left Chelsea, it's the reason Lampard might left, it's the reason Cole almost left.

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

I'd probably rather sell him in the summer than give him a 5 year deal tbh. He really isn't the physique or type of player who you'd expect to hold up well into their 30's and he has been really dissapointing this year. He looks off the pace physically, which obviously could just be burnout from back to back ACON's and being overplayed by us, but it could be the first signs of decline.
I really wouldn't want to risk a monster contract on him tbh, with the money he's on we wouldn't be exactly struggling to find a replacement (or even two for that money)
