The rags let Keane, Ferdinand, and Rooney hold them to ransom.

So you think we should let yaya do the same mate do you, ?

No but unlike the rest of BM, I'm not privy to what Yaya and his agent discuss so I've not really got an opinion beyond wanting him to stay if the clubs best interests are served.

I pointed out that the same happens at the rags as I'm sick of the media, other fans and blues claiming that the stuff that happens at City 'would never' happen at the scum despite their being hard evidence that it does.

Tevez refused to play for City and all you heard was 'Sir Alex wouldn't stand for it', the fact Scholes had refused to play for the rags as he was too big for the league cup was forgotten.

Same with Rio demanding money or he'd walk.

Same when Rooney asked for 100k a week more or he'd join City.

I'm bored of people thinking that shit only happens at City whilst every other club turns water into wine.

Take a bow,son..

I hate the creeping respect anyone has for that club, just because their weaknesses are better hidden in the press doesn't mean they're the perfect club that the rest of the world seems to think.

Personally I think yaya will go...he hates it where he lives..nothing for the kids to do,nearest park is about 2 mile away....his wife hates it also.
He could always move house, where does he live?

The press say wilmslow...but he lives in Prestbury village....3 doors from my gaffers dad...
Yeah could move...but every fucker lives there..including the rag players,so everyone is used to seeing them and the likes, and they get no mither.
this is nonsense,

Fuck him off and thanks for the memories.

If those quotes from Yaya are bona fide, they are a disgrace.

Absolutely non-committal, ambiguous and a complete lack of respect for the firestorm his own camp have caused.

He is clearly calling our bluff by the use of language such as 'so far' and 'not looking beyond this season'.

Which is in complete contradiction to their accusations that we have messed him about for six months.

He was compelled to set things right and if he doesn't, demand £40m or let him fucking rot for the final two years in his gilded cage.

I definitely think you post just for shits and gigles of late

If any player in that squad deserves recognition for what he helped transform us in to it's yaya - as lescott is quoted in the end of season dvd 'when the man talks, you listen' i think it was, he deserves every bit of the new contract he will sign in the summer!!!!

"In a club there are players and administrators," Toure continued. "We are like soldiers and we carry out what employers say."

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

Some people seem too keen to let Yaya go. Sure he is getting on and yeah we could reinvest well but it's taken us time to establish the backbone of this team and if any of these rumours come true (Yaya to anywhere, Kun to Real, Silva to Real) then we're undoing that somewhat. Imagine we lost Yaya and Kun for example, yeah we could sign Vidal and Falcao to replace them for example, but both players would need to settle and would need to become familiar with the style and team. That could cost us results in the short-term. Modern footballers are cunts but some are so good you just have to humour them a little and try and sort things out like Baconface did with Wio.

Mind you if Anzhi want to offer £40million for Yaya that would be ridiculous and I'd probably make a hypocrite of myself after all I've just typed... :P

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

John Terry, Steven Gerrard, the white Pele, Ferdinand, Keane. There's an endless list of players who've threatened to walk lest they get what they want.

This isn't personal to City. Yaya isn't the first. He won't be the last.

Let's not get naive like the rags and assume the players play for history, tradition or love of the club, they all play for money, even Gods like Rooney and Terry.

Fans who care about the wage structure need to lighten up, get high, have a wank, watch TV, just stop obsessing over a billionaire Sheikhs finances, it's going to be OK.

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

It's probably down to the new wage structure being implemented by the Barca Boys on behalf of Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon.

When you've been on a basic wage of 250K a week(?), it doesn't sit well that it could be.......(Johnny Ball, think of a number) a week instead, and made up of additional bonuses.

One final lucrative move for Yaya, along with a capaital city, could be too much to resist.
