Yaya Toure

I thought it was an early days throwback today. Remember that? He looked almost disinterested sometimes, got a lot of stick on here, and at the ground? Tried stuff, couldnt make it come off? Then with time showed his capabilities over the subsequent seasons, but occasionally showed that he still has a bad game now and then. I thought a lot of his forward play was ponderous and a bit hopeful to say the least, but plenty of his team mates were poor too.

The stuff that happened in the Summer, if nowt else, mean there's currently a question mark over his dedication to the cause for the time being, so he needs better performances sooner rather than later, imo.

He was our best player by a street today. He wasn't up to his high standards but was still far better than the rest. When we went a goal down he was the only one trying to get us going.

Yep he was ours best player today, we need to be more direct and shoot on site to predictable easy to defend

When did we sell Yaya and Nasri ?? If we haven't we may as well had neither have turned up in the first 3 games this season.

What the fuck are you on about?

Yaya made 103 passes today and had 6 shots.

Nasri has made more key passes than any other City player so far this season.

Well those stats mask a way below par performance from him. He was slow in getting his passes away, gave needless free kicks away because he couldn't be arsed running with his man and he allowed Stoke way too much room on the ball. He should have scored with at least one of his 6 shots as well, especially his effort that hit the bar in the first half after great work from Aguero and Silva.

Does'nt make you a top player just because you can pass a ball. A top player also helps out with all the dirty work and does'nt go missing like these 2 have done so far.

People slating Toure don't know what the fuck they are talking about. He was our best player today.
