yaya.....

When YAYA plays in midfield he needs more mobile players in there with him if we don't YAYA should play of the striker or not at all away from home

if Silva and fernandinho had been fit we'd have probably rested him

Is that a wind-up? He doesn't get rested.

The problem with Toure is that the team are accustomed to almost everything going through him. If he's having a bad day, it affects the whole team.

He's obviously a highly-respected team-mate, but for me he's not captain material either.

yaya was really out of sorts today- could not get into the pace - was out of place and generally did not look like he wanted to be there- so sad that- he let us down

Question is this: do Yaya's bad days outweigh the benefit we get from his good days, in terms of points won and lost?

yaya was ineffective today , playing too deep to compensate for fernandiho's absence , and garcia simply isnt good enough

There is a reason Yaya has been playing so well prior to today - Fernandinho.

He allows Yaya the freedom to dictate play without the concern for whats happening behind him.

Losing Fernandinho effectively loses us Yaya as we have no one else capable of providing the energy, industry and defensive mobility that's required to compliment his game.

100% agree , fernandinho has been vastly underrated , he allows the likes of yaya, silva, nasri to play and he also covers the fullbacks , top player.
