So it's now a problem then ? Why can't you be happy with him steamrolling defences and scoring important goals ? You notice more now because we are shipping a few because It's how we are set up to play, we attack !! I think you lot need to accept the way he plays ! This is yayas game and you won't change it. Accept it and stop whinging as it's how he's been since the first kick of a ball in an mcfc shirt.
Spoiled or what
Very silly post. There's nowt spoilt about owt in commenting on this. There's a lot of this sort of post in this forum. It's like people cannot talk openly about players or the manager or the club. They have to be positive only and not have any sort of balanced views on anything according to some.
You know it is possible to be as happy as Larry with Yaya and love him forevermore for things like the FA Cup semi and final in 2011, the performance against United in the Kompany 1-0 game and the goals at Newcastle in 2012, and be really pleased with his passing stats and goals this season...but at the same time we can see and feel open enough to comment that in a two man midfield Yaya is neither mobile enough nor works hard enough and it can have a negative effect on us. It's a good talking point.
It's happening, many can see it, it's worth commenting on, it's a good talking point; but at the same time I'm chuffed to bits with his attacking contribution and hope it continues. Don't want him dropping but I think Pellegrini needs to adapt something within our team tactically to make this defensive issue better.
Theres a very fine line between winning the title and not.
