HaThe Camera Eye, what a complete waste of vinyl grooves; ten odd minutes amounting to the square root of f*ck all imho. I love the band to bits, but that track was so underwhelming and marked the death knell of their longer tracks. There are genuinely good reasons why they avoided playing it live for so many years.
Great album and worth a revisit. Saw them plenty on this and the orchestral tour which follewed Magnification (which I have seriously warmed to over Lockdown). A shame Open Your Eyes was so shit (another Steve Howe takes control album that sucks)The last album I enjoyed was the Ladder and that was (bloody hell) 1999!
Bloody hell, from 1999The last album I enjoyed was the Ladder and that was (bloody hell) 1999!
It’s worth a listen BillBloody hell, from 1999

Yes I think it was the last really true Yes Album. I love Homeworld and Nine Voices especially. It’s worth a listen Bill
Yes I’ve got a book by Dan Hedges which goes up to 1980 then Close to the Edge by Chris Welch which goes up to 1999. I think the latter has been updated a bit in a revised version and it’s very good.Does anyone know of any books about Yes ?
Thanks mate I'll look out for those.Yes I’ve got a book by Dan Hedges which goes up to 1980 then Close to the Edge by Chris Welch which goes up to 1999. I think the latter has been updated a bit in a revised version and it’s very good.
