Referees/Officials

Just a case of a ref who's prepared to guess it was a corner but not prepared to guess it was a penalty. For some teams he would have guessed it was a pen and it would be called a brilliant spot. They'd be replaying the angle that shows conclusively that Forster missed the ball and everyone would be happy. As it is he's not really done his job right but he's got away with choosing the lesser of two possible evils. Roll on video technology. As long as Pigmol's not involved.

You claim it's fact that the videos show the keeper didn't touch Sane? Any ideas why you're literally the one person on the forum, the only person who viewed the game including fans, commentators, pundits and ex referees who haven't seen it?

Mods - Why is this wum not banned?
Are you thick or blind?.....

You're so intent on trying to prove to everyone on here that you're a 'top fan' that you will go with the majority instead of reality. That's as sad as it gets. Oh no, wait a minute, just as sad is you going bleating to the 'mods' for back up. I feel sorry for people like you.

I suppose you still think we can win the league this season because no city 'top fan' would ever say otherwise.....

Some advice. Have a bit or courage, just a teeny little bit and don't be afraid to say what you think occasionally.

Ps. You mentioned pundits. I think you'll find that both pundits on motd ie. shearer and lampard both said no penalty. I think you need to start talking less shite son.

The only thing that has to be asked with that penalty decision is, if it was a red shirt in that situation what would the ref have given?

. . . . . . . .

That said It is guaranteed that the same level of proof would not be applied to other top teams.

. . . . . . . . .

Yer can bet yer last ten pee that there would be two dozen games at the weekend where, if that incident were to happen, the ref would be pointing to the spot. Not only that, down at The Swamp the goalie would have finished the game there and then!

Leroy says it wasn't a penalty
That's good enough for me!!!
At least honesty is not completely dead in football. Shame media not highlighting Sane and Pep's comments...

Brilliant, I think I'm one of very few that actually said they didn't think it was a penalty in real time so nice try but read back a couple of pages and you won't look such a prick.

Ps... There's not a single pundit that has denied the keeper made contact with Sane, which was your original point so you are wrong on that too but keep arguing if you must, I'm bored at work anyway.

I don't know where I stand on this one. So like many of my posts on here it will be pretty pointless.

I thought it was a pen in real time, the touch from the keeper on the ball is marginal but does that mean it's then not a foul? His contact on Sane meant he couldn't get the ball afterwards. Larsson got the ball for Sunderland against United but managed to get a red card, it seems the ball doesn't really matter and is the consequences of the challenge. That being the case then it has to still be a foul as his follow through trips Sane to the ground. Had people of not been punished recently when winning the ball then I would agree it isn't a pen.

I think my main gripe and as mad as it sounds is yet again it was a very 50/50 decision which could of been given either way with the ref getting little shit as it was a tough call. It's a decision at 0-0 which could of gone in our favour with a bit of debate about it but yet again hasn't. The whole even itself out bullshit had it's chance to on Saturday with a "debatable" call and yet again it didn't. I cant wait for a match changing decision go in our favour although I will probably die of a heart attack.

If Taylor is refereeing the rags this weekend i think it more or less eliminates him from refereeing the derby the following Thursday - it will be down to somebody else to shaft us - won't be Mike Dean as he has an appointment on the Wednesday evening

Come on now MadchesterCity we all know that the refs of PGMOL are not corrupt, just look at the rags 2nd goal it clearly hit the rags player in the middle of his chest, how can that be handball as the Chelsea players were saying.

Seriously I have always said that all the Premier League + the FA and the bosses at PGMOL are corrupt, you just have to look at how many bad decisions have gone against us this season. Yet all of their bosses have said that they do not have an anti City agenda what a bunch of liars they all are.

Which idiot of a ref have we got for this up coming semi final.
