I think things will be much clearer in 6 games time.
He looks better to me since coming back. He's certainly dealing with crosses more authoritatively and the rest of the team has caught up to him with regards to playing it out from the back, I don't recall any hairy moments in the last 2 games and he was being very adventurous in his positioning and demanding the ball outside his box often.
He's only faced 2 shots on target in that 180 minutes though, and one was the Hull goal - which I don't blame him for personally.
If he is truly back as #1, then we'll see enough in the next 6 games to decide if he's gotten over a bad start and can now be number 1 (which would be great news for Angus Gunn), or if we need to spend big on a starter for next season.
He needs to makes some big saves imo.
Until he does, the same fears will always be lurking & then as soon as one gets past him...
No reason he can't do it, he's a top keeper, but he's obviously had some kind of mental thing going on which has made him dive over stuff he normally saves routinely.
