But it must be public, for you to know about it.
Vincent and Sergio publicise it through their Facebook page and I can't remember where I saw Sterling's.

Interesting that in pre season games united beat Sampdoria 2-1 a few days ago, whilst Swansea beat them 4-0 today (without their best player).
Of course.
I am sure hundreds of sportsmen and women were supporting charities generously before Mata had his blinding revelation.
I expect many Muslim footballers fulfil the requirement of Zakat in their faith.
I prefer footballers who make charitable donations discretely and unpublicised.
Apparently giving 1% of his wages to charity this season. Classy move.
I have thought about this before. It should be a standard part of being in the footballing profession. The higher one earns the more they contribute to charitable causes. The money that is being thrown around in football is just too much. That £200k per week could go a long way in improving education, poverty, quality of life, etc. tbf I assume many footballers do contribute, so it should be the buying club that forks out not the players.
Why footballers ??
Tennis,Golf,F1,Cricket,Boxing.
It should be voluntary otherwise it simply becomes another tax.
The Toure Bros used to give 50% of their income to their Foundation.
Anyhowup, charity begins at home. Cut the Foreign Aid budget to India & China & invest in nurses, education & care for the British elderly
Exactly, it's probably written into their contracts that anything of this nature must get the full glare of the rag media.Mata doesn't seem like the kind of guy to want publicity about how he gives to charity. His employers however...
Superb !
Sunday Times has a story about the Chinese possibly buying the Rags
I thought exactly the same thing, When has mata ever done anything and then made a huge deal about it?Mata doesn't seem like the kind of guy to want publicity about how he gives to charity. His employers however...

And Rumspringa is only meant to be 2 years. Dunno how they've been getting away with it so long tbh. So many barns back home need maintaining. It would be very smart of the Glazers to consider. They know the jig is up and the era of dominance is over. The possibility of a long-term run as also-rans is distinct.

I'm not sure they can afford to sell up / or it is financially wise to sell up..... if they sell how much profit will they make and how much debt do they have to pay off? Where as simply keeping the club, the debts are being looked after (or moved around to another debtor) and the profits creamed off by the family each season. It would be very smart of the Glazers to consider.
