He played a great game today. Looks night and day more confident than he did last season and was a nice injection of energy in the early goings when it looks like he needed it. I assume he started today because Delph is going to play on Wednesday but I hope he gets opportunities against teams that come to the Etihad to park the bus.

I don’t think it is controversial at all Mendy offers a different game in terms of crosses and runs but defensively they are more solid certainly Delph anyway

He was the best passer on the pitch today which is saying something in that company, he's stroking 30 yard passes time after time, and somehow making it look routine.

What I like about Zinc is that he is prepared to take the ball forward in the middle of the pitch and beat his man, opening up the opposition centre. He did it a couple of time today. Nought came of them but yer could see the panic spreading in the double line of Seagulls.
