Leroy Sane - 2018/2019 performances

2-0 down against a Championship team and Sterling on the bench. One of Mahrez or Sane to come off for Sterling seems a logical thought. Neither tore it up against Swansea. What’s not fair for that change to happen? According to Bluemoon Sane is worth £100m and Mahrez worth small change. Which of these is the bigger disappointment against Swansea.

Sorry mate, I'm not taking requests at this time.

When the Sané thread grows it's either because he played well or someone criticised him.

It's quite the anomaly with regards to all the other 'player performance' threads.

Mahrez has zero chemistry with the rest of the team. That isn't the rest of the teams fault. Sterling, Debruyne and Sane have almost telepathic chemistry at times.
Why do you feel the need to make shit up to try and strengthen your argument?

You have no fucking idea what chemistry exists between any of our players so stop pretending you do, ridiculous

I think he's referring to on-pitch chemistry which you can see as a spectator. Some players are just on the same wavelength and it's obvious in the way they play, and others just can't seem to sync up. Yaya and Nasri were a great example of the first, they just always knew what the other would be about to do. Fernando and Fernandinho on the other hand, got on really well off the pitch but just couldn't work out a way to play together smoothly.

As I was re on pitch chemistry. He is claiming he has none, which is absolute bollocks.

Sane is playing up top with Werner today against Serbia. I haven't been paying close attention, but I did see him do a really nice lay off for Gundogan which nearly led to a goal.

Well Sane was the best player on the pitch, and for his troubles had his ankle stamped on by a frustrated Serb. It looked pretty nasty, but he walked off on his own with a slight limp. The Serb received a straight red.

Jesus Christ he's lucky if he walks away from this unscathed.

The more I watch it the more I cringe...

And the more I think the Serbian player meant to do it. The manager’s reaction is a bit dubious, as well.

Fuck me, only on the first Wednesday and Leroy is maimed already. Let's withdraw the lot of our players in future, pain in the fucking arse these internationals.

In case you don't see it in the International thread.

Honigstein reporting that he said he's alright:

He must have unbelievable flexibility to not suffer any injury from this or the Ralls tackle last year, must have been passed on to him from his mum.
