ah yes the part of the year when we go into Greenwich Scouse Time, you can set your clock to when they think they will win the league and when they clocks go forward again in spring they don’t.

It would be great if Spurs could nick some points from them tomorrow. After our game, they'll have all of big teams played already wile we're still to face most of them. We definitely had some seriously easy schedule last 2 and a half months and failed to capitalize a bit on it.

If we can get through Christmas and new year and be no more than six points off the scousers considering the fixtures we have coming up then we have a very good chance,gives us the chance also to have Laporte back and possibly sane,having said that footballs a funny old game and in reality no one expected us to lose to Norwich or wolves,the same applies to the scousers...

Unlike many here, I’d have taken, and will take, the CL this year over ALL the domestic trophies. The League and FA Cup clog up the schedule completely unnecessarily, as they end up forcing games to be rescheduled and put in every little nook and cranny in the schedule that can be worked.

City should play kids and “reserves” needing valuable game time in BOTH Cup competitions and allow the “First Team” to expend all their energy on the CL and, secondly (unless things change dramatically with the injuries in the squad and Liverpool fall apart), the PL.

On a lads holiday in Portugal a few years ago my mate had taken his Canesten Thrush cream with him to complete his five day course. After a few days, he told us he couldn’t understand why his thrush was not easing off as it normally did. Next morning after his shower he came down to the kitchen where we were having a brew and threw his Canesten on the table, it was no wonder it didn’t work on his dick, it was Athletes Foot Cream, we don’t let him forget.
