I saw this interview with an Indonesian guy (starts 1:24) who brought his whole family to ISIS and he expresses absolutely no remorse whatsoever for any of the victims of the regime. He describes it as "the biggest mistake of his life" but it's obvious that he only sees it as a mistake because they were defeated, not because of the horrific things done. He also tries to fob it off by saying "everyone makes mistakes, I'm sure you've made mistakes" as if joining a genocidal regime is the same as forgetting your anniversary.

Having said that, the video goes into the terrible situation that a lot of the kids of these cunts are now in as a result of their parents' actions.

Rather than have a UK trial and costs - leading to 25-30 (or life) in a UK prison, I would compromise and recognise that her current 'lot' is not a holiday camp - so she can stay there and serve the 25-30 years and we can review it then

Rolf Harris didn’t have his citizenship revoked either for some reason. I don’t remember any clamour for it either.

She doesn’t, but could apply to become a Bangladeshi citizen as she is under 21 and has Bangladeshi parents. Bangladesh have already said she wouldn’t be accepted if she applied.

I only mentioned Rolf Harris as he actually does have dual nationality, yet his British one hasn’t been revoked following his convictions.

That's the opinion of the Bangladeshi Gov't. It could be true but I wouldn't take it as gospel.

As for Rolf Harris, I'd have no problem deporting him to Australia but is it really a punishment? Most people go to Australia for a holiday and the ones who don't normally have a fear of spiders/snakes/sharks/other animals. From what I remember about Rolf Harris, that fucker loved animals. The best we could do is keep him here.

To be honest, I used Rolf Harris as a recent example of where our government has applied the law in a different way of the case of Begum. I, like most other people, don’t care either way with Harris but not taking back one of our own citizens who has broken the law seems wrong to me. She should be returned and tried properly in a court of law, just like all other citizens that have returned from Syria.
