The problem is the UEFA proposals are also damaging to us and UEFA are still determined to destroy us. So we are between a rock and a hard place. I really hate both of the anti-competitive proposals. I don't trust Glazer and Henry but equally don't trust Ceferin and Tebas.
We could gain some huge brownie points back by coming out in support of PL, FA and UEFA competitions by rejecting this proposal though. That's what is so staggering to me. We have an open net here.

Not good at all. That’s a strong statement from UEFA. Reports earlier today said City haven’t yet signed up but apparently that’s now changed. Obviously, I’m totally against any idea that compromises domestic competition and is effectively a closed shop and worse still, a lot of the clubs involved sent THAT letter to CAS trying to screw us over, but on the other side you’ve got the likes of UEFA, Bayern, and Juve who are all cunts anyway. As such, I think the best thing City should’ve done is stay on the fence, crack open the popcorn, and sit back and watch both sides tear strips off each other.

Yep. We’d come out of it looking well if we said no.

Good on them. I'm absolutely furious and disgusted by City, lets hope they see common sense, and back out of this shitshow, if not we will deserve everything we get.

UEFA proposals damaging to us? How?

Touch of irony in the closing part of their statement because they have clearly done plenty to support the self-interest of certain clubs.

I support their approach here though.

I am praying that the reports are wrong and City aren't involved. I just can't get my head around why we would sell out like this. We know what these same clubs did to try and stop us and are now willing to join them and do the same to other clubs. If we are involved we are no better than the rest of them. At least Bayern and PSG can hold there head high which to me means if we wanted to we could have but have chosen not to. I'm so disappointed.
I wonder if it could be the case that PSG's owners and the top execs at Bayern have such a huge influence on UEFA as it is that it would be at a political disadvantage to them if they were to empower this clique?
Certainly, it doesn't sit comfortably with me that Bayern might suddenly be the moral guardians of the game. Everything we know about them points to their being a self-serving entity.

City would go up hugely in neutral fans views if they came out and backed uefa and distanced themselves from this,do people actually think these bunch of cnuts would be missed in terms of sponsorship revenue and viewing figures in the champions league, but without these shithouses there is plenty of other teams to take their place in the champions league fuck this off now City ..

It's just strange. We're in a better position than any of the clubs involved, considering financials, playing and non playing staff, infrastructure.

Bayern and PSG aren't having it, which gives us cover. Everton, Leicester, West Ham and Aston Villa all investing financially and closing the gap. Why risk it all for a closed shop with the clubs of yesterday when we could be kingmakers just by staying put?

You can say it's for money, but mark my words: this idea is doomed to fail.

Bayern Munchen made promise to their fans that they will never support any Super League.

This is the reason

And Arsenal.

never thought I’d say this but thank god for Bayern Munich

I suspect Bayern and PSG know that they would have a place if they wanted it and were sitting on the fence until it became clear which way the wind was blowing. I have no doubt that they would have joined if it actually went ahead.
