Very sad day.
Just us then to make an example ;)Think we'd still have the domestic league. Too much money at stake to chuck us and the other 5 teams out
You changed my post from 'yes I'm backing my club' to 'yes I'm backing Mansours franchise'.??????
American model for all EuropeNo doubt the European Super League would happen one day but why make it a closed competition? Thats the issue here.
A open competition for all, I could support, but closed to the same teams, year in, year our, you got to be having a laugh.
But have you ever been this unhappy about it?Hooray I feel so much better now its only a bit shitter
Any new club has to start at the bottom of the pyramidI think we will back out of this, gut feeling. Otherwise maybe we can have a club in League 1 with Zaba, Kompany etc?

It was definitely competitive. The old system was far from perfect and it granted us tremendous competitive advantage but it was still competitive. The task before was extremely tough for any team but it has now changed to impossible. Without the founding club nonsense I think a lot of City fans could have squared this but of course the founding club nonsense is the basis of the entire escapade
And unfortunately going to get a lot worse. Shit times.Very sad day.
No they aren't. That was some parody account on twitterShalke are in
National legislators, and national leagues and FAs.
Seen Sky quoting rules that ESL entrants would be infringing by joining.
My hope is that City are just keeping options open and maybe arent committed.
Bastards aren't they.Cowards. If they are too scared to face their own fans about this then it tells you everything you need to know. They know we don't want this and they don't care. They'll go radio silent, get everything all signed and then reappear to say it's too late to change our minds now.
It's funded by JP Morgan bank, as per SSNI wonder who is providing the finance for this ?
Can anyone think of someone with oodles of cash who might be interested ?
Maybe, just maybe, it is AD pulling the strings here. In comparison the other owners don't have a pot to piss in.
Bayern, like all German clubs, are governed by the fan ownership 50+1 rule. They need their fans approval to take such a step. German football fans generally have a bit more backbone than they do here. They've managed to get Monday night football overturned by the power of protest and will stick together as a collective for their principles. Bayern know full well that there is not a cat in hell's chance of getting their members to buy into all of this. They simply won't be able to join even if the hierarchy desperately want them to.They’ve still got 3 spare places (12 of the 15).....the German rags can afford to wait and see how this pans out whilst commanding the higher moral ground. Perfectly sensible imo.
NEVER thought I’d say this...Gary Neville has more balls than my Club MCFC...I’m deeply ashamed to be a City fan, well, no I’m not..but this ISN'T City anymore, and I think we all know that now...gutted.
See Nevilles passioned speech below here.
Aaaaaaaaaarrrggghhhh,It’s not all bad news. Sterling is now well placed to get a £500k/week contract.
Were you calling it a franchise 2 days ago? Or on any of the days we lifted a trophy? Or does it just suit that label now?Potato potarto
