no one is thrown out of the Prem, the FA cup, League cup, uefa cups...
But the prem and FA clamp down on spending and really go to town with FFP!
All the millions in the World won`t mean a thing if we can`t outspend the rest!
The trouble with going to war is that there are always alternative battle plans.
To date we have fought a few hard battles and come out on top but this seems mighty dangerous to me. Backs to the wall and all that!

I would love a national salary cap for footballers.
Purge the league of this greed and give the clubs the money to develop academies and have a minimum of 6 homegrown players for every club. But in reality it aint happening. Our first division has been a cash cow for 30 years now and it is now the playground of uncle sam.

League survived fine without the FAI and it will do again, all they've done since they took over was tie us to SSE (who to be fair have been fucking brilliant) there's a gang of us involved with Drogheda (me and 1 other really), Sligo, Limerick, Cork looking to break with the FAI and let the league govern itself again, few people we've spoken to at the Dublin clubs seem half interested, any support would be welcome. They're trying to push this cross border league and I can't help but think it's the wrong time and we'd be better off tying our own knots.

If I could have one wish now it would be for City and Chelsea to get on the phone to Uefa and say we want a clean sweep with people from our clubs on the boards and no more bullshit. Someone posted earlier the teams that could be in Uefa CL and it wasn't bad. I would honestly rather throw my lot in with Ceferin than the lot we have now. I am praying i'll wake up to find we have had a change of heart.
