I think I have come up with the perfect punishment for Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Instead of banning them, which will never happen, they should wipe out their UEFA coefficient.
This way they're still in the competition, which satisfies sponsors and doesn't rock the boat too much, but they lose the protections they usually have and we will get some real groups of death. Big sides will go out which should spice up the competition perfectly.
It takes 5 years for them to get back to where they were, but the punishment declines. They'd be in pot 4 for 2 years, pot 3 for 2 years and then they'd be back in pot 2.
I think a 15 point deduction for all teams involved is in order. That would leave the top four at the moment as : City 68 pts Leicester 66pts, West Ham 62, Everton 59.I think this is going to finish up similar to being caught smoking at school behind the bikeshed

I’d be more than happy to accept this and play out an arranged draw tomorrow with no tackling to REALLY boil some piss.
I'd take an interest if I thought UEFA had the balls to give them a kicking.UEFA has begun disciplinary proceedings against European giants Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus over their role in the collapsed Super League.
It's crossed my mind too.I wonder if CITY planned this all in a machiavellian epic plan to join ESL with a plan to pull out, renounce it and kill the project leaving Barca and Madrid 'holding the baby' and high and dry with UEFA and facing possible ban........could the CITY boys be that clever? Our involement in this ESL is still a mystery to me tbh
I'd have been more impressed had the Machiavellian scheme led to the rags and dippers holding the baby.I wonder if CITY planned this all in a machiavellian epic plan to join ESL with a plan to pull out, renounce it and kill the project leaving Barca and Madrid 'holding the baby' and high and dry with UEFA and facing possible ban........could the CITY boys be that clever? Ahhhhhh memories……”bend over Ribchester your going to get a good thrashing boy”…………………………. And back in the roomI think this is going to finish up similar to being caught smoking at school behind the bikeshed
The one thing CAS didn’t like with us and punished us for was our ignoring of UEFA’s authority.Uefa going down the disciplinary proceedings route with Barca, Madrid and Juventus, we giving this another 6-8 months before it gets thrown out by the CAS?

There's no evidence either way, but personally I doubt it. I think Khaldoon was protecting City's interests in the whole sorry business. The scheme was dreamt up by the faded and fading 'istree bunch to help their financial difficulties and City stood to lose out if we weren't included. All that weekend City kept open a dialogue with Ceferin and I think Khaldoon was telling him bluntly that City had no reason or experience which would lead us to trust UEFA to show the guts to deal with the offending clubs and would have no choice but to go along with ESL unless UEFA did something. When it became clear that not only UEFA but also the domestic leagues had grown a pair remarkably quickly City saw the opportunity to Leave the other English clubs dangerously vulnerable and thus destroy the scheme by withdrawing. It would not surprise me if we collaborated with Chelsea over that weekend. So I don't think Khaldoon was quite as Machiavellian as you but he certainly exploited a fast developing situation in our interests. And that, to me, seems typical of Khaldoon.I wonder if CITY planned this all in a machiavellian epic plan to join ESL with a plan to pull out, renounce it and kill the project leaving Barca and Madrid 'holding the baby' and high and dry with UEFA and facing possible ban........could the CITY boys be that clever?
