very likely this last two season under Pep. we need to use next transfer windows to sign up big talents, big players as it will be harder without Peps pulling power. we are attractive destination for good players but most our current players who signed under Pep without exception came partly due to working with Pep does have a great value and is something thats great to experience in a career of a football player and can be a factor in favour of City at close transfer decisions. and we certainly used that as a negotiation tool for sure. rightly so.

you wont hear Varane saying part of the decision to join United was to play under tactician Ole. he might as well just finding out who the hell is that clown.

again we will arrive at a stage next summer where "does Pep renew?" will be all across media, does he really start the season with an expiring contract, media trying to create doubt for our players. "good bye season" and things like that.

I want us to go real big in current season and we need a top striker imo to reduce risk simple as that. we might make it work with Gundogan becoming Alan Shearer but he might not. Pep wanted Kane, for a reason. that reason was so its not Torres, Sterling, Jesus who will be in crucial PL-CL situations to kill of opponents.

to miss out on Messi, Kane, possibly Lukaku too, while potentially we have been given no positive feedback from Haaland either, you have to wonder if Grealish didnt have a fee (and an incredibly high fee!) in his contract we might not get him either. Txiki unable to get players anymore apart from few under the radar guys like Torres, Jesus if there is no release clause?
Bernardo maybe too but look at him, we are about to give him away on charity...
What are you talking about, according to most posters on this forum Txiki & Omar are gods amongst men that has turned water in to wine with basically no resources. They have played Levy this whole summer fooling him we would buy Kane and now when we pulled out he is stuck with him for 3 more years, what a tool! We dont need to replace Aguero, Pep can just teach someone else how to be a world class striker.. We played well when KDB was out for 2 months last season, which prove he is not needed as well! The main problem is that our squad is too talented (thanks to our transfer geniuses Txiki & Omar). We dont need reinforcements our main focus should be offloading more players, if you think differently you must be a rag.

No, you were right, batshit.

oh I know lol.
Why on earth would we want the issue.

Sane didn't listen first time round. He's now an ACL later and still an arse.

His confidence is absolutely destroyed and a bit of humility may just have Pep feel for him. Terrific finisher, great in the box and it does look like he won’t have the legs to be a winger any more. If we can’t get anyone else, I know I’d rather see Leroy tapping goals in as a 9 than Raz tbh.

I detect an element of sarcasm to your post

Every line makes sense.

and the last subtweet :

It’s unfortunate that comments by Sean Dyche or a journalist employed by a holier than thou newspaper tweets bothers Manchester City so much. It’s of no relevance or consequence unless you let them get to you. Big mistake.
If only football was as simple as he thinks it is. Pissing me off the sheer amount of shite been thrown around tonight.

I like Hernandez. Heart on his sleeve kind of guy and always comes across as liking city despite being a Barca fan

A few days to go yet, we are not finished yet I suspect. I think we have known for a while that Kane wouldn’t happen, I’m optimistic we will do something yet.
Do we need anyone else though?

I mean we scored 5 on Saturday..!

4 different scorers (5 with the one chalked off) and an own goal, with 2 of our subs on the scoresheet too..

Early days but we played well against Norwich, so much so that I remember saying to my mate at half time that we'd score another 3 in the second half after coming in 2-0 up at HT..!

Haha..!

So what you’re saying is you want City to start throwing more cash at clubs to secure the big players? I’m pretty sure there’s a very good reason why City aren’t doing that.
We're not the big draw for players that some people on here seem to have convinced themselves.
Top 'elite' players will only come to Manchester City for one or both of two reasons...
1. To play under Pep Guardiola
2. Money
When Pep goes, it's 100% down to the money. If we want to keep playing with the big boys, we'll have to start throwing big money around soon or we may find ourselves doing without CL football in a couple of years time.

We basically scored the same goal 3 times on Saturday. Norwich were beyond poor.

I’m deffo not doubting our team but Norwich isn’t a real reflection imo

What's the last subtweet in reference to?
For some reason he thinks that when people like Dyche say City are so rich, how can we compete etc. The likes of Khaldoon take it to heart and shrivel up and won't spend any money to keep the peace.

It's nonsense, nobody can sit there with a straight face and say what we have done in the past 10 years is incorrect. There is no guarantee of anything in football yet we have bettered basically everyone year after year.
