United (A) Post Match Thread

I’d take Pogba, Fernandes, Greenwood, Rashford, Ronaldo, Sancho, Varane and Shaw if they were available for the right price. They’re all decent players.

They are a squad of individuals who are being chronically mismanaged. I remember a lot of the criticisms aimed at their players were aimed at Stones, Cancelo, Gundogan, Sterling and Mahrez etc not too long ago.

I’m just happy that they haven’t got a manager in the same ilk of Pep or Klopp etc, even someone like Potter or Rodgers would make them a dangerous side. Long may Ole continue!
36hrs later & hardly a “nibble” hmmm??

There’s merit in reflecting upon this outstanding win, in the context of the 6-1 from 10 years ago.

The 6-1 was a beautiful moment in time, sending a powerful message that we noisy neighbours were here to stay.

The game on the weekend said so much more. It signified the progress we have made both on and off the pitch. It showed that the gap between the two clubs has become wider, and that steady and astute leadership in all aspects of our business produces quality on the pitch.

The humiliation which we inflicted on them was even more powerful than the 6-1. Their ‘fan base’ had to suffer us playing like it was a training exercise. Their ‘leadership’ had to endure our wonderful travelling fans mocking them endlessly.

It was a moment where they collectively knew that it might take a decade for them to catch up to us, and I’m sure they were thinking they may never catch up.

So well done City. We put the building blocks in place to ensure ongoing success. The rabble down the road don’t even know where to start.

I agree that the pisscan is a cancerous piss stain on that odious club.

However, they are light-years away from challenging for anything of significance. The rodents have had three decent managers since the old fool stepped down and the board have spent one billion pounds.

If the rags were ever going to get into a serious title challenge it would have happened by now. The problem the Salford red socks have got is that they haven't got a clue who or what they are anymore.

The broadcasting media and TV pundits dish out the same old tired rhetoric of how an institution like theirs should be fighting on all fronts. However, if you take away the rags back story you're left with an insipid group of mercenaries playing mediocre football with a disproportionate amount of fans (hanger on's).
All reminds me of when Matt Busby moved upstairs at the swamp, history repeating itself.

Ronaldo showed what he was about at a very early stage of the match. Expecting a free-kick in his favour he turned around and saw that Oliver was indicating that he'd been given offside so he punted the ball away in frustration. Normally a yellow card offence but obviously exceptions are made and absolutely no mention of it from the senile commentator and his sidekick. Very surprised it took him this long to try and leave his mark on something (or in this case some one) in the game.
He was petulant as fuck against the bin dippers when he couldn’t get his own way. Proper blouse.

Read somewhere that sone Utd fans think that when pep goes and klopp goes both teams will fade again and they will be ok so I reassured them that maybe Liverpool would struggle to rebuild another team like they have but city will carry on building team after team . Man City are here to stay and there’s a good chance that Utd may never get on top again in Manchester.

Hard shoulder shitter, please explain as I have no knowledge of this.

Yesterday was an absolute slapping, embarrassing that they have even been mentioned in the same breath as us as 'challengers' less than a month ago. Pure dominance all over the park Pep got it absolutely right. They're light years behind us and will continue to be so while they keep that useless tosser in charge.

That away end was brilliant aswell which isnt always the case at that shithole with the amount of tickets not going on sale to loyalty points, decent to go through the full repertoire of songs while they kept us in for what seemed like 3 hours, strolled into the ground and strolled back out towards town with no hint of trouble whatsoever.

Separate note these 2 day hangovers are no fun whatsoever are they?

They have been hoping that we fade for 10 years

That two day hangover explains why you thought we played on Sunday.
