Harry Kane

Kane has missed nearly 40 games through injury. Haaland nearly 30, in a much shorter career to date.
I know bugger all about Vlahovic. Are you sure Kane is the injury prone one?
Kanes injury is a recurring one however. Always (nearly) his ankle(s) that puts him on the sidelines....
When it's reoccurring that's when there is a red flag

I wouldn't be against Kane coming to City, he's good at linking up play he has an eye for a pass, I mean how many goals has he set up for Son. Even Sterling could be rejuvenated with Kane in the team. I know it was only Albania but he scored 3 good goals, give him space in the goal area and he will score
He won't get space for us

If we can get him for less than 100mil and less than 400k wage then we have to consider it. If not tell levy to do one and move onto other targets.

This is the single most bizarre thread in the history of the Transfer Forum imo. I think it's clear we tried to sign Kane and it's clear that he wanted to come. It's also clear he's a top quality striker with an eye for goal. Yet poster after poster wants to criticise/insult/belittle Kane, despite the possibility that we could still be in for him. Very strange.
It's odd isn't it. He's one of the best strikers in world football, and some people have convinced themselves he's shite and wouldn't fit our team. Whether it happens or not I don't know, and I'm not getting my hopes up, but he'd slot into our team immediately and score lots and lots and lots of goals.

If Pep played him as a Number 9……..and that is the dilemma. I think we have more than enough false 9s but Pep might see him as the answer at left back.

Less than 50 million at 250k, then maybe. But even then it depends on our chances with the younger guys.

I'm damn near a No with Kane.

Don’t know why this thread has been bumped again, Kane has 3 years left on his contract, no way City are in for him, not in January or the summer, that ship has sailed..

the media are reporting manchester city are going back for kane with a strong offer in jan ?
would not give them and levy the time or money for kane after what they did in the summer

unless its a bargain price like £50 million plus sterling i would leave well alone and try and get haaland signed even if we have to wait for the summer get him signed up on a pre-contract

If any of the professionals at the club are reading this thread and looking at the poll result, the answer to your question is yes, football fans really are this clueless ;)
Why do you think so many have voted that he isn’t wanted? Other than a blasé, ‘cos they are clueless’, there must be something that causes a problem for so many of us?

For me, it’s that I consider him a bit one paced, and more generally a flat track bully, so is overpriced for that. You could counter by saying he might have made a difference against the likes of Soton and Palace though, which is a fair point, but my worry is that in the big games at home and in Europe he wouldn’t score enough difference-making goals.

Can't sign a pre contract, midway into an existing contract. Release clause or not.

All 16 of them, it's a small enough percentage to worry about pal.

We're all just clueless fans passing the time of day on here mate ;). My point is that there's a massive disconnect between how Kane is treated on here and his actual status within the footballing world. We're talking about a 100 million pound player here, top of the goalscoring and assists charts last season, captain of England, on track to break domestic and international goalscoring records, and 84% of our fans don't want him here. I don't have a problem with it but it does make me chuckle.
