They are a good side and their squad depth has improved. Having said that they were second best for large parts of the game and if Chelsea hadn't missed two great chances they would have lost.

In my opinion our squad needs a refresh in the summer or we might get overtaken by them and Chelsea.
 
Chelsea don't have the consistency for a title race, but are still dangerous in one off matches like today. On the balance of play they had the better chances and should have won. I was expecting a relatively comfortable Liverpool win given the form of the two teams going into the game.

I don't think i'd fancy facing either of these sides in the latter stages of the CL this season, if i had to choose

I think you've got a very good point there. Us and the other 2 are tremendous teams and it's such a shame the red clickbait media cannot recognize and applaud this.
However, the dippers squad is looking really good and I think one reason is they find a way to use their young players better than us and right now they have Salah, Mane, jota, Diaz and Bobby teeth all fighting for 3 places up front. We have similar but one difference is their players score bucket loads
Dippers have Jones, Elliott as just 2 who look very comfortable in their midfield for most games
Chavs have a formidable youth system and whilst most go on loan and then for money, players like James, Mount etc are excellent.
As for us, it's pointless having another contract for Dinho when Lavia could play. How will we find more game time for a player like Cole Palmer, same with Delap and McAtee.

Van Dijk and Salah have been the best players in the world in those positions. It really will be very difficult to replace them, and they will need to be replaced soon.
 
Come back when you’ve done the domestic quadruple in ‘ONE SEASON’.

I like to see them getting giddy having shagged themselves out winning a trophy that when anybody else wins it isn't a real trophy - proper small time

We’ll sign Haaland and possibly a DM. Palmer will hopefully get more minutes than he has this year. Liverpool and Chelsea still have some catching up on us I think.
 
I feel physically repulsed when I hear they’ve won anything.

they’re terrible in loss and they’re even worse in victory.

If there was any justice in the world, after their antics and disgracing of the footballing world, they’d won nothing and go into foreclosure.
Sadly there is none.
