We will not do anything alone and nor should we. As you say we are not the World Police. It is also the reason why NATO won't get directly involved, Ukraine is not part of that pact.
My answer is we, the nato countries, bolster up our defences ready for the mad bastard going into one of ours.
My point was more to the posters who, out of fear of a nuclear war, seemed to be saying 'let him do what ever he wants.'

There are some people saying we should impose no fly zones, potentially take on Russia and if it leads to nuclear war so be it as "Putin & his war machine must be stopped". I think we should be involved in humanitarian support & imposing sanctions but not sure we should be getting in direct conflict yet. A line does need to be drawn and if he tries to go over it we must follow though but it's not as clear cut & simple as some seem to think. (I'm not referring to you when I say that).

Overwhelming support for the motion to censure russia , still some countries not voting for it and several abstained , mindboggling

141/193 is certainly overwhelming, 5 voted against, and 35 abstained, not sure what happened with the other 12 countries.

Don't know if the Afghan rep at the UN is from the old government still, or the new regime, but they were one of the sponsors to the resolution.

Will be interesting to see the full list of voters for, against, and abstaining.

Like I said the United Nations is saying race is playing a part, Up to you if don't believe them.

I said at the start I reckoned there was some discrimination involved but I think most of the problems are to do with a lack of understanding about the immigration rules and how Ukraine have prioritised children and their mothers. That’s no surprise in a wartime situation.

I saw on the news officials having to drag up kids from the stairs at a train station that were being blocked by adult males / maybe international students. They weren’t in the way deliberately. Just trying to get out of a war zone. I didn’t criticise them just like I don’t criticise the immigration queues without knowing the facts.
