Making a save today wouldn’t of gone a-miss
He made one, an excellent one point blank against one of the leagues most lethal finishers to keep us in it, or are you suggesting he should save every free attempt from 6 yards we want to give up? Shit post of the day goes to you, congrats, its a tough one to win when we lose. The ederson thread never fails to produce.

Had a shambles of a defence in front of him today and wasn’t brilliant himself, but he kept us in the game when he saved us from going 1-3 down.

They stopped pressing when they realised their press wouldn't mke him hurry and rush a clearance, almost single handedly forced their front line to give up with his casual "come get it" approach. Outstanding distribution, played a pinpoint 40 yard ball back across his body at one point in the second half straight to walkers chest, nobody even clapped when it deserved it because we're all so used to it. Had very little work to do with his hands but got an excellent touch on a dangerous back post ball in the second half that looked likely to be finished off had he not got a touch on it.

Ederson: "I've seen that image. I've been in that position various times, whether it is a corner or throw in, I always look to play high to shut down a counter. It's something I do a lot and sometimes people don't really notice..." [via

Ederson: "It is difficult to concentrate when I don't see much of the ball. I constantly communicate with teammates. Even in a game when I don't make many saves, I am tired mentally - the mental tiredness is more tiring than physical!" [via
