Think he’ll be quality in this set up!
Did he?
He was always brilliant, hence why we signed him.We just adapted his role somewhat.
And Haaland!Got Stones and Walker, so "another" would still work :)
I think that's a bit generous..
No chance of them being allowed to just get on with it for England and play together running the game. That prick, Southgate, won't allow it unfortunately.from an england perspective, it'l be interesting to see if KP, PF, RS, JG, JS and KW develop an understanding at club level that carries through to the international stage.
Dunno mate but a Leeds lad i know told me his dad was a bit of a 'character.Wasn’t he brought up my his mam and nanna.
Why?
Big teams…….and Crystal PalaceKalvin gives Pep options now. If Pep wants to play two cdms against the big teams in champions league or the top 6 in the prem to help stop counter attacks he can now. If he wants to see out a game and take a midfielder off he can bring Kalvin on to give us more defensive strength. Don’t want to play Rodri in a cup game Kalvin can play as a lone dm. Peps got another option now with this transfer.
Which makes us stronger
More? Probably. If Pep wanted to make it the main system we'd need another DM. Lillo was the master of the 4-2-3-1. Not sure what we're in for with his departure. Will we see more of 4-2-3-1 with Phillips and Haaland you think?
Can see Gundogan playing that role more and more so we’d have 2 DMs rotating between Rodri, Phillips and Gundo, and 3 AMs rotating between KDB, Bernardo, Grealish and Foden, with Sterling as cover for Haaland if he stays.More? Probably. If Pep wanted to make it the main system we'd need another DM. Lillo was the master of the 4-2-3-1. Not sure what we're in for with his departure.
I've not seen that but how would he pass a medical if he needs surgery etc?Did someone post something about him needing surgery or am I talking (writing)bollocks ..
Yep.....and being quite superb in Europe/Champs league while on a contract at Donetsk that made him almost unattainable. He was playing in Ukraine at 27 years old..
I seem to remember Pep saying he bought Mendy with a view to going 2 up top with Kun and Gabby if we needed. Mendy's crossing ability being a factor. Will we see more of 4-2-3-1 with Phillips and Haaland you think?
No. you're quite right someone did say that a few pages back about him requiring surgery for his hamstringDid someone post something about him needing surgery or am I talking (writing)bollocks ..
