Can’t really have any complaints if Chelsea match Brighton’s valuation of Cucurella and we didn’t. It’d be absolute fucking madness to start this season with only two recognised senior full-backs though, so trust we have someone else lined up.

It would be typical City to only have two senior full backs for the seaaon.

I think he means it comes from the firm belief in Pep being able to make the absolute best of the squad he is given without having to overpay for every player just to get our targets. Which may not be the case initially for whomever replaces him.

We do appear to have a small but vocal contingent of entitled drama queens amongst our fanbase.

I’m sure every club is exactly the same, but ours do seem particularly brittle.

I blame the Community Shield!

If our Club is in exactly the same position come 2nd September, then I’d agree we have a problem which could potentially undermine our season.

Thankfully that day is weeks away yet.

Ridiculous is a bit strong.

Most Prem teams have 2 or 3 youth players in or at least on the fringe of the first team, last year none were close with us (Foden being a senior pro now).

JWE is 19 and has played for our first team last year and in pre season, He's played for england in the youth system. Some prem clubs have even asked about signing JWE - so its not like he is some raw lad who is miles off. As I said, he will be decent. Maybe it wont work out but I'd take that risk.

Hi Damien hope all is well. I think it’s funny bc I think it’s utter horse shit. Should the clubs vision indeed be clearer tomorrow and it’s true I’ll swing back around to apologize.

We’ll get a different left back then, why does it matter what it looks like. Did it matter when we pulled out of other players and bought alternatives. Why would it matter now.

Because they’re a rival, who will benefit and improve in a position we desperately need to, for the sake of a few extra millions.
