Small agent syndrome. LOL, absolutely nothing against the guy. We have to learn tho. You avoid the big guys taking you to the cleaners. But they do that because they are the guys who can get their way. They can make it happen for you. But they'll treat you like everyone else.

The smaller guy has to take what's on offer. But that goes for what he ends up accepting from the other party in the deal. You can't rely on a small agent getting what you need from the other club. He has no way of pushing them around.

He's stuck, scratching his head. Your competitor moves in, and says to him, we can help. What happens? He takes it? Shock, horror!
 
Gutted we let those cunts get a player we were after for a position we desperately need to strengthen. Should have just paid the £50m.

Any injury to one of our only two full backs at any point in a 60 game season, plus the World Cup happening and we’ll be fucking about trying to pretend Stones can play RB.

Hopefully with a month to go we’ll find someone decent who can play full back and not weaken the side when he comes in.

Agree. We have needed a decent left back since Paul Power left!

I agree with your point really, but we don't have a copy of our books for the year so we don't know if we can finance those deals, and maybe we just don't think he's worth it. We might not be able to make it work financially with us agreeing new contracts for Mahrez, Foden and recently Cancelo. Haaland isn't coming cheap either.

At £50+m we can get better than Cucurella but the catch is they are already at rival clubs.

i agree this.. Cucurella looks a decent player would suit city style big time
