He’s a better player than Mitchell at Palace and could definitely push himself into contention for the World Cup if he starts well.

I think so. I was really surprised that Southgate chose Mitchell instead of Thomas when there was vacant on LB back in the March. Very smart young lad.

Why are we looking at some midfield converted left back in farmers league while ignoring the talents in our own backyard? Isn't full back a speciality of UK (not goalkeeper)?

As an American, I would love to see Robinson join City. We were linked in the past with him and he has only gotten better since. Even for the USMNT he's always solid in the back.

I doubt we can make Top2 if not signing a decent LB in this summer window. Signing one in the winter will be TOOOOOO late.
