At what age do you not need to mourn a life anymore, just celebrate it, do you think?

Not sure what you were expecting to happen when the queen died. There was always going to be a state funeral for her.

I think you’re missing the point. 70 years of reign means pretty much nobody has seen anything like this. I’m certainly no royalist but it’s changed how I see them, and made me realise who she has been to our nation.

All this grandeur and ceremony, nothing like it for 70 years.

We had no funeral or service for my Ma. We had a party. She was 82
