Nedum Onuoha thank you for your honesty.

Has anyone seen the clip from espn where Nedum asks Klopp a question , Klopp replies with am not sure if you have played football , standard Klopp would post on here but am thick as pig shit when it comes to stuff like that .
 
Just caught up with this thread it's taken a very weird turn. It reads like an amateur HR dept meeting on the deficiencies of one of our former employees and has now moved on to what's wrong with Nat. All a bit odd.

Whilst it's understandable, personally I don't think there's much joy in comparing our past or future managers to beloved baldy. Good the thread moved on to what an absolute knob Klopp is.

I think Nedum is an excellent pundit, miles ahead of most of them but I'm not sure he plays the crass analysis/lads banter/cliche game that most broadcasters seem to think is what the public want. If his appearance is a sign broadcasters are moving towards a less inane approach I'd welcome it.

From the bits I’ve watched, ESPN punditry seems to be pretty good.

Maybe it’s because it’s for an American audience and the yanks don’t get the “lads down the pub” style the British broadcasters tend to go for.

Shame he is far too nice, it would have been far funnier for him to put the **** on the spot by saying I played more than you and had youth caps at all ages, how about you?

Klopp looked a good manager at Dortmund and early Liverpool but now he just comes across as a manic bitter that. Glad he isn't out manager.
 
The weird thing about Nedum was that he IMO was more than good enough to be a squad-player for our title-winning sides, and due to his background as a local fan, and his intelligence, personality and the leadership he displayed as a captain for the likes of QPR he must have been a good character to have had around the squad as a consistent presence. His City career for me is up there in terms of "what could have been" with the likes of Michael Johnson and to an extent Stevie Ireland and Sturridge.

If ever you get the opportunity to see Nedum please do, as his hate for United still ranks, even though the Dippers are our current closest rivals, but not in Nedums eyes.
A wonderful speaker, but a true Blue Mooner even as an ex Player.
Nedum ... well done mate and a true Blue if ever we doubted you.

I echo your comments - he came to Irlam last night and was just as you describe.

Very entertaining and gave a good insight into a variety of topics and truths.
