PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

As said yesterday I hope the reason we have been so passive on the media attacks on our club was not for reasons of fear.
Not at all...do you mean lying down in hopes of them not spilling the beans on us? C'mon Keep, what media have you been watching over the past 15 years? Those MFers would be tripping over themselves to dish any dirt on us no matter how low we laid. They do it now with made up stuff...imagine if they had something real...chill my man, we got this...

I just can’t see them stripping us of our titles, even if they did find us guilty (and that’s a very big if at the moment). It would too messy, complicated and excessive.
Agreed. IF any punishments are imposed then they won't likely be retrospective. Far too complicated to untangle. I'm not even sure relegation is on the cards. I think points deduction, fines and transfer embargoes are probably the scope and limit of any sanctions.

Carragher simply hasn't read the details. I'm not sure he's read the Der Spiegel report. I'm not convinced, deep down, he understand the accusations. I don't think he read and/or understood the CAS report, or what the time barred really meant.

Obviously - obviously - City have taken advantage of their links with commercial partners attached to the club. Like United, like Leicester, like Bayern, like Stoke, like Juventus like [insert a dozen other football clubs]. But obviously those links are mutually beneficial for those sponsors. But City are the most successful club in England over the last decade, are on TV more regularly than anyone, and have exploited emerging commercial markets in creative ways as you would expect directors who are at the cutting edge of European football. Txiki Begiristain proposed all this at Barcelona, and the dinosaurs there saw him off for it, so he took the template and brought it to rainy Manchester cos he'd figured out business plans and football plans that the rest of European football are now trying to copy. Carragher still seems to think that Real Madrid should be top of the table because they sell more shirts and have more Facebook followers. Well, if Spurs made £442.8m, having not won a trophy in a decade while in the UEFA conference league, why shouldn't City have made £619.1m winning the league and getting to the semi finals of the CL? That sounds about right to me.
Maybe he can't read.

Nothing could possibly strip me of the elation of winning the league in 2012 or any of the other leagues, cups etc.
So even if they did, we've all lived through it and they'll never take that away.

Sorry, who are you defending Bayern,VW or Leterme with a big list of allegations against him? That man is dishonest and has worked with the Qataris. Qatar Airways are still a Bayern commercial partner last I looked(official airline partner). Not sure how much of a motive that is though. That's more relevant to the PSG "mistake" when he somehow failed one of the biggest parts of his job: "Oh... So QTA is overvalued???... Must have missed that, sorry boss". I just don't think he can be trusted on his word. He has said the Premier League have a stronger case against City in general, seems far more vocal than he was about PSG(did he not comment or did he comment but nobody cared?), who were actually let off on a technicality.
I just thought it was funny. I remember when some of you put that Spiegel report onto Bayern etc. A left leaning magazine in Hamburg that e.g. published the Hoeneß investigation story before and that is in Hamburg - about as far or further from Munich as London...

Who wants to see conspiracies can find them everywhere if you are just spinning it the way you want to.

Neither can I to be honest. The ramifications of how that would effect other clubs etc. Relegations and CL places in particular.

However, I'm on high alert now for even the slightest suggestion of it. Maybe it's just because it was my first day back at work, but someone is going to cop it very soon if it carries on.

I threw facts at them though, and they couldn't answer. And I'll toughen up.....eventually :-)

I’ll be there on Sunday, as usual. Not to ‘show the PL’, not to show Sky, or the press or the idiot supporters of other teams. I’ll be there because I fucking love this club and everything about it. Rain or shine, good times and bad, it never loses its place in my heart.
It can frustrate me, it can piss me off but boy can it elate me.
I don’t cuddle blokes I’ve never met anywhere else other than there.
I see people for 10 minutes and half time and full time, once a fortnight, and I feel like I’ve known them forever.
I smile as soon as the stadium hoves into view and when we score, Christ I feel like something might burst, my joy is that great.
Most of all though, I go because, save for the odd occasion I can’t go, not going just never enters my head. It’s like eating, it’s just something I do. It’s one of my biggest fears about becoming a RFOC. That I won’t be able to see them play.
Be that in the Premier League, Champions League, Super League (I know, I know, but I still would have gone, in the end), Championship or Conference North. No panel, no faux supporter, no wanky journalist, no media reporter and certainly no relegation will stop me.
I go because I can’t not. End of. Mind you, the following doesn’t half make it worthwhile.
