Maybe we have to produce more at our academy instead of permanently buying (which dont always work out), Rico Lewis showed if you give them a chance you could strike gold.Interesting opinion. City were going to do a refresh in 2021 but it was pushed back.. could it be due to the charges earlier??
And the summer we need a massive refresh, these charges appear again to sow doubt amongst transfer targets?

Sadly I agree with you. If you're a top player will you seriously want to come to us ? It's like we will now be known forever as the cheats. We are tarnished.
If we win this case I sincerely hope City sue the PL big time over our reputation being badly tarnished, so badly leading to all sorts of problems in the future.
Haaland and many top player still join us even after CAS clearing and media brand us guilty ever since.
It is nothing new and PL charges will not change that. We have to just up our game to recruit player like we are not doing it already for the past fifteen years.

If found guilty (and there is no CAS) we could loose our prem status. In fact I believe we will. also those titles will go to the scum and the victims.
Well clearly taking the pinch has hit us like a freight train.Maybe it wasn't that simple. Maybe as Khaldoon said it was better to take the pinch. Like you though not something I agreed with.

100% accurate.That's how it was.
The rules were changed after we submitted and we took the pinch, because we were assured it was just enough red meat to keep the wolves from the door, but it was a lie, the wolves have been at us ever since.
City cannot win this as we've already lost, global football is global brand and our brand is in the toilet. We might win this case some ways down the line, but what will we have lost in the meantime?
As I've said, the process is the punishment.
IF there is a conspiracy by the red shirts they have succeeded already and worse could still yet come, far worse.

Can I persuade you to take a step back and consider what you mean by 100+ charges.
You know that these charges relate to multiple years, so if each of our misdemeanours has been repeated in each year, that then is only 10 actual issues. If you think that one individual issue could lead to a breach of several rules (for example, Mancini's salary may breach rules for, at least, giving supplementary information on all a manager's salary and also for giving accurate supplementary information) so that brings down the number of issues further.
Don't get hung up on the 100 breach nonsense. There are a handful of issues, for most of which CAS has cleared us before. It's just media nonsense driven by people with agendas who don't, or wont, understand the complexities of a case.
And don't get hung up on the fraudulent accounts nonsense either. I very much doubt the PL are going there and, if they are stupid enough to try, it won't be decided by a three man arbitration panel.
All imho, of course.

This is true but players , supporters , the club will move on despite the stain , every club in some form or another is stained be they large or small. They have to otherwise like all those who live in the past , life will pass them by.It is. But the monkey will never be off our back. Ever. It’s permanent and forever, or at least for generations, past our deaths. It’s like herpes. Or a bad tattoo. Revenge fantasies are enjoyable to ponder but there is no winning this outside our own sphere — which is not to be discounted, mind. But for the world at large, it’s just about degrees of losing.
Recogniz(s)e — this has always been the fundamental point. A permanent stain.
Sure this is serious stuff , the PL may have an axe to grind and we are in their sights for now but we shouldn't lose sight of the bigger picture even though we will for a while.

The other charges are meaningless in the overall context.
Do they have hacked evidence to show we were lying? That I would imagine even we don't know (?)
And maybe they have a smoking gun revelation that we are all unaware of, although I very much doubt that.

I would say the answer to all the above is YES and a big YES.

Surely if the money was coming from City's owner, which WAS permitted for FFP reasons, why would City instead claim it was sponsorship money that was not permitted under FFP?
