Would be good to see a comparison of home/away fixtures left for each team set against the league table. I might knock it together if I find some time over the weekend. My feeling would be that our fixture list is a lot more generous…
I think we have theoretically tougher home games - arse, dippers, chavs and bar codes, they have theoretically harder sway (us dippers bar codes). The big pluses are we’ve done this before, and our brilliant manager isn’t having a breakdown

Villa away then Leicester away tough fixtures with form they’re in can see them getting 1 point from 6

It's fairly tight, but I think we just about edge it. We've both played United and Spurs twice, from the top half we both still have to play Newcastle, Fulham, Brighton, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Our away games are Forest, Bournemouth, Palace, Southampton, Brighton, Fulham, Everton, Brentford.

Arsenal's are Villa, Leicester, Fulham, Liverpool, West Ham, City, Newcastle, Forest.

The midday kick-off time will certainly do them no favours, that's for sure :)
The big thing here is same as the dippers.
When everyone realises you ain’t invincible and they can get at you they start to actually have a go
Arsenal at the moment just aren’t creating enough chances, confidence is lower and the squad is not strong
If odegard or saka were to get an injury or suspension they would give up

Hoping it doesnt go down to the last game of the season.....

Brentford away has big upset written all over it...they are a very difficult team to get anything against as we have already found out.

You missed their game in hand which is March 1 home to Neverton. I reckon they will get 34 points, we will get 35 and that includes a last day win at Brentford.

The Centurions team never gets the credit it deserved. The fact that we’re only just past the halfway point and nobody can reach 100 points, even if they won every game just shows what an achievement it was. City raised the bar so high that a normal title winning points tally looks like a poor season.
It doesn’t get the credit it deserves from our own fanbase.

It’s the greatest achievement ever in English league football, yet we don’t have a single song about it. When any set of fans sing ‘where’s your European Cup?’ we should sing ‘Centurions Centurions ole ole ole’; even any set of fans sing ‘Champions of Europe you’ll never sing that’ we should sing ‘Centurions, you’ll never sing that’.

The club also never really paid as much attention to it as it deserved. There was no end of season DVD and only a small range of merchandise.

Both the fans and the club have pretty much forgotten about it now, apart from one flag on a pole in SSL1.

WE ARE THE ONE AND ONLY CENTURIONS IN ENGLISH FOOTBALL HISTORY!

Still irks me that!

Here's a visual of the above I quickly mocked up. Green for home games remaining, red for away.

You can see that most of their home games are against the bottom 6. We play all the bottom three away, they play all three at home. In fact they only have two more home games against top 10 opposition left.

The average position of our remaining away fixtures is 13th, theirs is around 9th.

I would take our fixture list just about but it is very close. It's certainly not great having to go to an embattled bottom three away deep into the season.

Come on Villa

Remember 3 weeks ago when everyone got mad at Gary Neville for saying 1 City 2 United 3 Arsenal?

I think there's a really good chance they're 2 points behind Arsenal by Sunday evening.

This is great, ta!

Things that stand out: a) are Brighton, Fulham, and Brentford going to maintain their form or will their away games become a bit "easier" as the season goes on. b) those away games against the bottom three should be easy enough on paper, but also playing teams scrapping for their lives but c) City, Newcastle and Liverpool are probably three of the toughest away games in the league right now.

Biggest thing looking at it all though is how much football there is left to play!!!
