PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They’ve put their own video on YouTube. It’s an hour long so can’t be arsed watching it. Hatchet job on CAS from what I can see.

Apologies if this has already been posted and discussed or if this is the one people are already talking about.

Well that was balanced. NOT. Pile on - downgrade it and post balance to this disgraceful video.

What I’m hearing from a dick who tbf had been wrong a lot but tbf who got CAS verdict 100%
We’re getting done again on the non co-operation issue. The equivalent of resisting arrest from a copper who is trying to fit you up for a murder you didn’t commit
But they HAVE to do us for something as a political sop
Pretty much everything else has been dismissed and destroyed
A fine that won’t touch the sides and a one window transfer ban. With another window ban suspended
Do the PL have the power to impose a transfer ban? I thought only FIFA could do that?

I know the ITK's are saying this will go on for years.
But the increase over the last week of shit throwing at City makes me wonder if something is about to happen. It seems to have gone into overdrive.
Throw as much shit as possible because in a few weeks time City are cleared. Properly wish full thinking on my behalf

Its either the press/media are really pissed of City did the treble, which I find hard to believe. So that only leaves the charges.

Obviously I have no proof it's just a gut feeling, they has to be a reason for the increase in shit thowing.
They’re probably trying to derail any transfer signings.

You really have to remember the timing of the charges. City were “struggling” by their recent standards and Pep had expressed his public displeasure and Arsenal had a good lead in the PL. United were even talking about a possible “quad”. The announcement was framed for maximum damage, the press was being briefed while City were still being informed about charges. They had zero expectation that City would land a pure treble at that point - it was thought more likely that Pep might walk away. I suspect the PL are now a little conflicted. Watching Masters’ performance at the HoC committee was an eye-opener - he was so unbelievably lightweight. Can’t see him surviving.
Football seems to be rapidly globalising and City happen to be sat right at the top of the tree, so I agree with your general point - though that was not how they thought things would turn out for one second. But, the die is now cast and they have to deal with it. Add the known geo-political realities into the mix (Mansour at the Coronation, Mansour with Erdogan in Istanbul, multi-billion UK investment pipeline etc) The PL is in way over its head.
Spot on...they tossed a grenade into the room, we walked out a back door, nothing happened, they went into the room to see what happened and BOOM!!! LMAO

I'd forgotten about their possible quad. Lmao.

Everton a being done over for recording losses of £371 million. The didn’t just fail financial fair play they exploded it and this is nearly a decade after the rules were introduced, not for the period before FFP and the very early years of it when clubs were looking at how to interpret them. Where is the clamour to have them relegated to the national league and branding them cheats?
All the comments I’ve seen with regards Everton are “but what about City” lol

clearly someone bankrolling the whatappgroup. too bad we dont go after them and find out the dirt on them and neither on any rivals. we are still to nice, want to be liked and respected rather than read the room and act accordingly.
Don’t underestimate the power of knowledge, and the leverage it creates, wielded behind a closed door. It’s the way the real real world works

I think because our AD owner and Mr K have contacts in high places in the the UK and globally, they simply do things not only differently but also at a time that suits them and not others.

Why is this even important? The consensus is that there are 5 or 6 underlying issues that have led to the 115 alleged breaches. What they are called isn't important, although I note the PL itself doesn't refer to the 115 breaches as charges.

What do you mean why is it important, why is any of it important?

People have made a number of wrong claims (over the length of this thread, not just the one post I was responding to) whether it is through poor wording or understanding, that read anywhere between 110 charges have been dismissed and only 5 remain, to there were only 5 charges, made out to be more.

Not to channel Sebastian here, but I would discourage clicking on that. In fact I'd go as far as suggesting removing the link to it from this thread.

It is one thing posting links to real articles by actual papers and journalists that get plenty of clicks. But this is a random video made by anonymous nobodies and really doeneed the.clicks or the trend.

It’s actually made by journalists that often have articles in established media outlets, albeit journalists with a track record of shit stirring when it comes to City. It is widely publicised elsewhere.

Follow the money. Let’s get a help city fund going. Hire a private investigator to snoop into the bins of these twats. Guarantee you will find a money trail back to America or Qatar.

Expose them for what they are. I can be trusted to hold the money in my account -:)
