We are certainly not treble winners when it comes to IT
To the drop down bit and all it showed was the three people in my friends and family. No option of putting an email address in.
I'm on an Android with NFC and have never not had to scan the QR codesame ...but usually you don't need to scan the QR code
I swapped from Android to Apple at the beginning of 21/22 and have never had a problem using NFC since, but before that always had to scan the QR. So it must have been the phone and probably down to the strength of the NFC signal the Android phone was emitting. I’m going to guess that Apple is consistent technology across all its models and most likely used for testing such things, whereas Android is a mix of manufacturers and tech so much harder to test compatibility.I'm on an Android with NFC and have never not had to scan the QR code

I'm on android, I know my NFC works as I did a test purchase on my linked card but it never works at City....now I just use the barcode and don't bother turning it on.With the NFC thing do you have to open your Google Wallet and select the ticket? Or are you meant to just be able to scan the phone from the home screen? As others have said I've always used the barcode.
What’s NFC? Only because I’m nosy. My SC is in my wallet but I just wondered. :-)Imagine reading this sentence 20 years ago!

*rofl* I actually thought No flipping clue but I’m glad you posted very similar. :-)No Fucking Clue?
Open your wallet, select the ticket and point the phone about three inches from the scanner with the screen facing towards you. Don't wave it about and it will scan in a second or so.With the NFC thing do you have to open your Google Wallet and select the ticket? Always works for me on a mid range Xiaomi Android phone.
A minor one. It's one more step to get to the barcode and then you have to insert your device into the scanner. If you are running late that could make you miss a goal :)Literally no benefit over the barcode then.
Nota Fucking Clue?!What’s NFC? Only because I’m nosy. My SC is in my wallet but I just wondered. :-)
