To be fair there was a time where it was difficult to see Labour ever regaining ground in Scotland as the SNP were so strong and the tories were mopping up any brexity types.

A lot of people still say 'Labour will be worse'.

I can't see the logic of this. I can remember back to the 1960s and thus all Labour Governments bar Attlee's. I honestly do not think they were any worse than this lot. In fairness, nor were the earlier Tory Governments.

This bunch of populist fruitcakes is unprecedentedly bad. Labour could not possibly be worse unless they literally appoint Frank Spencer as Chancellor.

Labour won't be worse as labour will have structure and a semblence of steady efficiency.

we won't get 40's or 90's improvements or much improvement in standards of living beyond 2010 austerity (starmer is fiscally frigid), but we won't get batshit tangents and chancing it like we have now
