Middle East Conflict

So despite everything, the fact the car park was hit by a "small" ordinance not a "large" one, video footage of the missile failing in flight and crashing from multiple sources, the fact that the IDF are blaming PIJ, not Hamas, for the attack (who do have the sort of ordinance to carry it out), their adamant refutation they did not do this, the only source we have that say they did coming from the one group which abhores them merely 10 minutes after the attack... you think Israel is still guilty?
It does not matter what I believe or you believe, it's what the world as whole believes , and unfortunately they will believe that what is seen as an oppressor nation is guilty, you can present all kinds of evidence, the reply will be who is bombing Gaza at the moment? And they have done this many times before

It's basically a massive propaganda coup for Hamas and Iran. and that's all you need to know about it to be honest, it's just the way it is

I’ve got a friend who also does the volunteer community gardening. I’ve never thought about this before but she lives in a huge complex of flats a mile from me that is for Jewish people only. I assume that this would be acceptable for any racial or religious group in Britain. I don’t care that much but this North Leeds and not the Middle East.

I think it’s important that everyone tries to get on and I’ve got no gripe against this accommodation. I just think it would be a big media issue if this accommodation was for another religious or racial group. I might be wrong though and this sort of accommodation is widespread.
Totally acceptable, I’m sure they had to allow a percentage of the properties go to non Jewish people, similarly to catholic & Protestant schools who have to admit 10-20% non conforming children

Which neutral country can provide evidence?
It isn’t just the US who have satellites and robust intelligence gathering services. Depending upon which side of the fence you place yourself, if the proof can be derived, will it change the minds of those who blame Israel? I doubt it. I have been reading this thread and even on here there are posters who seem to have decided what happened without evidence.

It’s a time for seeking the truth. In war, as we all know, truth is the first casualty and people will be swayed by their political views and how they want it to be.

Whatever the truth, for me, making civilians the victims, on both sides, will only widen the gulf, mitigating any hope for peace. When Israel make their move with a ground, air and sea assault, where do the women, children, elderly go? How do they avoid carnage if they have nowhere to go? Mass civilian casualties will trigger retaliation from both groups called terrorist and indeed Arab states will get involved too, being forced to by the outrage of their populations.

It’s looking grim and as I said before on another post, the invasion hasn’t even started and that to me will be the trigger to a wider conflict.

I came home from work last night to the news. The media were leading with the headline "Israeli attack on Gaza Hospital kills 500". Came on to Bluemoon and the overall conclusion was Israel has gone beyond the line you don't cross and attacked the hospital and I was disgusted by Israel's actions.

I wanted to know more, but the more I dug things didn't add up. Now what do we know; we have footage of the rocket failing and crashing from multiple angles and sources. We have morning pictures of the hospital which shows the car park has been hit. My understanding was, based on people's reaction in here and from the news reports, that Israel was bang to rights guilty. Whether the rocket was fired by PIJ or IDF one thing is absolutely clear; as the rocket is shown failing in flight, the Hospital was NOT the intended target.

But nobody actually knows what happened fully, so why were people so quick on here to condemn without all the facts?
Because it suits their agenda

So he's saying he was mistaken, not that it was a fake tweet.
So then the original tweet he made is worthless and not a point of reference of guilt, regardless, correct?

"How could we do this..."
"We DIDN'T do this, mate"
"We didn't? Ooop sorry, i'll delete."

PROOF!!

You're not listening to me. My point is that it's possible, that at some point in time, someone could have believed Israel to be behind that attack without necessarily being the raging antisemite that some would have you believe. People firmly in the Israel camp were saying the same thing.

Also, his original tweet certainly wasn't in the spirit of "how could we do this!?", it was more pitched in a "we killed some terrorists" kind of way.

Either way, I've no idea whether or not Israel are behind it. Can't take anything that Hamas or the IDF says at face value. Even The State of Israel's official social media Comms have been putting out easy to debunk nonsense.

Will reserve my judgement until I've had time to look at things properly myself.

I haven’t viewed more of this, of if this has had explanation.

Is this footage related to the hospital strike? Because this has supersonic soundflow and strike.

So much fucking misinformation these days its terrible, its getting impossible to know what to believe. Im getting to the point where I just ignore everything that takes place further than a mile from my house, would be so much easier

Easiest way pal. How people cope trawling the news, Facefuck and Shitter all day in beyond me. No wonder mental health everywhere is in the bin.

So Biden has given his Unequivocal support to Israel. Carry on bombing and Murdering.
It's so sad that he has wasted an opportunity to talk peace and bang heads together, it's a gift for the extremists on both sides and terrible for the ordinary people caught up in this nightmare

18:59 Gaza time palestinan bomb owned Palestinian hospital
Shame that b b c
The first to jump to conclusions
Even when they saw the truth still no apology

This from sky sums it up

Analysis: The Arab and Islamic world is seething - containing the conflict will not be an easy task for Biden

By Alex Rossi, international correspondent in Lebanon
The Arab and Islamic world is seething. It is hard to not think there will be a significant reaction to the hospital blast, and to the humanitarian catastrophe that Israeli bombing is compounding further in Gaza.
Any explanation put forward by the Israelis will simply not be believed - so the sting of what's happened will not be removed easily.
Already we are seeing widespread protests in the major cities. The question is whether they will spread and become a daily occurrence.
The anti-Israel sentiment is fused with anti-American feeling as well.
US President Joe Biden's visit to Tel Aviv and a key ally to show solidarity could not have come at a worse time. It will be interpreted as rank hypocrisy.
For the Arab world, Israel's never-ending occupation and apartheid regime is the cause of the current crisis.
People are asking here: "Why is it okay for Israel to occupy Palestinian land but it's not okay for Russia to occupy Ukraine?"
They also note that many of the bombs flattening Gaza were made in the US - this already doesn't look like a local war for many.
If the US trashed its reputation in the region by invading Iraq, this is making things much worse.
The question for the Mr Biden's administration is how can it contain the Gaza situation from becoming a regional conflict? And that's not easy when you're not seen as an honest broker.

Out of interest who else has satellites that are observing this mess. The Chinese presumably. The Russians , Any of the Arab states. If one or more of those independently stated who was to blame it may difuse the situation if found to be a Palestinian terrorist group.
