It was a golden opportunity to seize the red wall seats from Labour, deliver on what was promised and keep them blue for the foreseeable. What a post, deserves more than just a like. Succinct and cuts through the right wing rhetoric that if you aint with them you are 'woke' or a left wing looney. When actually you can see this government for what they are devisive, scaremongering, political point scorers with no interest but there own. A party that seeks to divide through policies that devide us as a nation on policies like immigration that ultimately make no difference to the vast majority of our lives. But get the little englander tory vote and stops a handful of immigrants comparative to other nations of similar economic standing.

a)Sunak must think the Tories have a chance of winning the next election under his leadership.
b) He wants this next year to line his own pocket a little more before the inevitable disaster at the polls
