I'm sure you'd like that Bob, but I very, very much doubt it. If there was a general election tomorrow, you might get close, but even then I doubt it. But we are not having one tomorrow for that very reason.

Historically, support swings back towards the incument government during the run up to the GE and at the polling station itself, so I don't for one moment imagine that the current lead in the polls will equate directly to the numbers of gained seats. Still I may be wrong, so let's visit this in late 2024 and see who was right.

That's a really difficult question for me to answer because I don't like any of the potential runners at the moment. Braverman, absolutely not, Priti Patel ditto. Kemi Badenoch I don't really know enough about but I don't think so. I don't mind Cleverly but I am not sure he's PM material and I don't think he has any chance anyway. I used to not mind Hunt but since he's become chancellor he's not been doing it for me at all. And I don't think he wants or would get the job. Ditto Grant Shapps I don't mind but has no chance and probably not interested.

Maybe someone from left field I have never heard of. The Tory front bench needs a complete clear out I think.

Historically, almost all wars have been caused by politicians, royalty and the clergy (or been fought "in the name of god"). Yet all three groups have pride of place at the Cenotaph each year.

Scotland is huge in terms of next election. I think you’re correct and that the SNP will (metaphorically) be handing the Number 10 keys to Starmer.
 
How do the Tories manage to find such a production line of utterly horrible vermin? This slag is right up there with the worst a party of greed and self enriching scum has to offer.

No doubt England will vote her PM one day. They swept Boris in by his appealing to the gammons and she is following the same script.

are inciting violence. How can that be ok? My hatred of Tories I never thought could increase, but after watching the Covid enquiry and the ramblings of this thick hateful **** has allowed me to move up a level.

All over Gammons will be swigging their Stella and telling each other they are defending the flag and Cenotaph today. Borderline Nazis defending us. We do need defending but not by them, from them. Remember today anybody who bumps into them. Being fat, baldy with a big red face and tattoos of flegs with a skull and bones on it, doesn’t mean they can fight. Believe me.
