Given there lack of possession the giddiness must have been scarce. Maybe if tickets were priced accordingly in the first place then we wouldn't have to have thousands of disinterested kids who mainly don't support us at the game. Over the past decade or probably longer the club has managed to disenfranchise / price out many loyal blues to the point that whilst they still follow the team they don't come to games any longer. They are the fans that the club need to reach out to if we want a proper fanbase although unfortunately the club wants the one off match day fan who will pay a fortune for their seat and spend a fortune in the club shop.I had a large group of kids sat behind me in 326 last night.
Most seemed to be in the "anyone but City" mould and were getting giddy every time Copenhagen were on the attack.
However, some of the girls seemed desperate to see Foden play. Couldn't believe one of them referred to him as "Phil the DILF". The mind boggles!
