BBC 10 o’clock news giving it the full thick twat “what about City?” treatment.
All reports I've read state that he was extremely reluctant to introduce the FFP rules. See:

Top clubs awaiting fair play blueprint with Scudamore finalising his proposition
Premier League chief Richard Scudamore will propose his own version of financial fair play regulations this week. He accepts there is a strong will among club owners to introduce new rules.www.dailymail.co.uk
He's certainly on record as emphasising the importance that the make up of the "Big 6" should regularly change and that Premier League clubs should be allowed to spend big. See 16:20:
Just saw that too.. stupid Forest fans giving even more stupid vox pops to camera. You really can't tell (help?) these people, can you?BBC 10 o’clock news giving it the full thick twat “what about City?” treatment.

The absurd thing with this is the PL are getting rid of the rules they have used to sanction Everton and Forest for a new set of rules. From uncharted waters to uncharted waters. How do they know the new rules will work better? They are hoping they are better, but only time will tell. Sheer lunacy. PL leadership not fit to run football. Total idiots. End of rant.Everything in that statement confirms that City were right to fight against this incompetent/biased group.
I honestly don't know what the PL are trying to accomplish.

Don McLean's beautiful 'Vincent' came to my mind:
"Now, I think I know what you tried to say to me/ How you suffered for your sanity/ How you tried to set them free/ They would not listen, they're not listening still/ Perhaps they never will.."
Said a while ago we are going to tear up those corrupt twats if they carry on . . .It’s got to the stage where this also looks like an attempt by those clubs to bring about a new league or the super league to be brought back on the agenda again..

Is your last sentence a genuine quote from Klopp?Caller on 5live before, a forest fan..
“How are the smaller or newly promoted clubs supposed to compete if they arent allowed to invest”
Bingo!!!! You arent. Now back in your box
Poor bugger, hope he has a good wash afterwards.Stefan is on with White and Jordan tomorrow 10.30am
Apparently we were at the time the only premier league club who backed this, don’t know if that has changed as in other clubs joining with us or not …![]()
'Historic moment for fans': Legislation to create football regulator
The Premier League has already raised concerns about the new plans, which it says could "weaken the competitiveness and appeal of English football". The announcement comes following the Crouch review, triggered by an attempt to form a European Super League.news.sky.com
Not sure how/if this impacts our ongoing issues, but it's annoyed the Premier League so it's alright by me.
So, going from that article, the change he proposed would have again benefited the 'big' clubs at the expense of the rest, and not addressed any of the issues with FFP. He said some of the right things in the Overlap interview, but I can't say I saw it reflected in his stewardship personally. We were seeing a lot of hostility from the league at the time towards investment outside of the 'istree clubs, that tells me that his actions didn't line up.
Interesting part for me is just after that he tries to justify his opposition to an Independent Regulator, none of the things he listed as "working on their own" actually do very much. His supermarket analogy doesn't make a lot of sense either, supermarkets are very heavily regulated businesses and they do have an independent industry-wide regulator.
As a side note they’re probably putting sugar in the crust or sauce. Makes sense as Sugar is addictive so they’re probably hoping for customer retention! And sweet. It’s like dessert pizza. Must target young tastes.
Delaney on SSN said he thinks this govt regulation is a good idea, so that’s got me suspicious now ;-)![]()

He’s a clueless cnut ..Delaney on SSN said he thinks this govt regulation is a good idea, so that’s got me suspicious now ;-)
It can’t get any worse than the constant bombardment of unsubstantiated lies we currently face. Who knows if GOV regulation will be any good or not. If City as an organisation voted in favour then that’s good enough for me at this moment in time.![]()
