PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I got the impression that was more about us delaying proceedings because of City’s army of lawyers - something beyond the reach of other PL clubs. This ‘delay’ was tantamount to guilt on our part otherwise we would be keen to have it resolved with our ‘insurmountable evidence’ etc.

Jordan today would not let it go and aggressively pursued the point that those with the deepest pockets always win. To me, that sounded like someone preparing the ground for the next stage of the fight. Equally, I may be reading too much into this.
You could be right Bob, all I know is Jordan always puts a negative spin on everything when it comes to talking about the charges put against City, be it the UEFA ones that were thrown out, or these latest PL ones. Hardly the actions of a person who suposedly doesn't have an anti City agenda?

Said it before, he's a smart man who thinks he's a very smart man and in my experience those can be the worst people in the room. Even a stupid person can provide fresh insights.
I suppose it depends on what your benchmark is for a smart man?

I've come across a few smart men in my time and a fair few smart arses. I suspect Jordan may well fall into the latter category?

For all those asking for PMs. Zin clearly had a life outside this forum and isn’t aware that it’s the same info that was reproduced on here at the end of last week about the league seeking settlement. From the guy on Facebook.
You mean some people do things other than read this thread all day waiting for updates?
How the other half live.

It’s an old storyline from CAS/Lord Pannick etc. he’s falling back on it because he was out of original material and was grasping.

You see it all the time when opposition fans would accuse city of “money laundering” which was just an old Roman Abramovich/Chelsea talking point that they fell back on ignorant of how different the situations were.

It’s stuff like this that makes you realise none of these people are serious. They’re just putting City in the dock as “villain of the week” and using the same shit jokes and banter they used for the last club.

Personally never understood the money laundering narrative. Especially when they coupled it with ‘state owned’.
Why would Mansour need to clean his money? It’s just about as clean and traceable as it gets.
