PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've treated all this from day one just the same as transfer rumours over the years. Until you see the player in the Colin Bell stand with his number on his shirt and Bernard Halford with a pen and contract there's no story.

I don’t believe anyone knows anything on here, I think it’s all been made up and fabricated stories off people who do not have a scooby as to what is going on,

And these people who claim to be in the know, why don’t they reveal there source?? As far as I am concerned I will remain worried until we have a proper statement released from the club on the official website once a decision has been made.
Guess they wouldn’t have a source for long once revealed!!! It could also break informal trust with friends

Well don’t read it and don’t get involved

Went to bed on the steps of the Courts of Justice - woken up on Devil's Island.

WTF has happened?
Nothing really, just take Alberto Galassi’s comments in context, he said he couldn’t say anything but was super confident about our situation, apart from his role at City he’s the top dog at a mega successful Yacht building company and a Lawyer of some repute.

Khaldoon is also of the same opinion and the £300m expansion of the North Stand should encourage the optimism for those of us who are not “ITK’s”.

Khaldoon is the best itk there is. If he sits in front of a camera & says we will prevail then it’s good enough for me & I’ve never worried since…..

Pretty simple really if you try and look at things logically and without any emotion.

In the Blue corner: best, smartest and coolest owners in football history.

In the Red corner: sweaty, balding clammy kuntz looking more and more desperate by the day.

I think we can all sit tight and enjoy this one to play out . . .

Thanks - much needed.

That’s what gives me confidence the north stand expansion. If that was put on hold I’d be nervous

This from X at the end of April.

I do like that quote. But glass half empty post he's hardly going to turn round and say "Honestly I don't know which way it'll go, it's out of our hands, I believe we're innocent but it'll be up to the IC to make that decision".

The PL I'm sure are equally as confident in their position.

Of course I believe Khaldoon, but it's based on pure faith and not knowledge. The club aren't saying anything I wouldn't expect them to say given the severity of the charges. Whether it's posturing or whether it's genuine knowledge that this is going absolutely nowhere, nobody knows.

As he’s the CEO of the very respected Ferretti group and a qualified Lawyer I highly doubt he’d be associated with the City group if we were in danger of being found guilty of fraud.

I really don’t have any in depth knowledge but my instincts just give me positive vibes, could be way wrong and I’m open to debate but I’m really optimistic.

Do we have a list of reasons to be cheerful?

1 Galassi is super confident
2 The north stand expansion
3 Masters wants it resolved in the near future
4 The cease and desist letters (if they exist)
5 We haven’t been stockpiling young, cheap players like Tommy Doyle who would come in useful if we were relegated
6 We seemed very relaxed about Berrada moving to United

I’m sure there must be more

go back to before the wolves game and you can read exactly this about pawson and twatwell, you can use stats skewed in diff directions to prove most things, we have to show up and take it out of their hands
I certainly never made any claims about Pawson, prior to Wolves, his stats for us are pretty bang on what you would expect.

Also I am not using 'skewed stats', these are clean stats of the referee win % with clubs. You can compare directly with the club's actual win %.

There should not be such huge discrepancies between referee's win % for different club's. Kavanagh's said to support Liverpool, his win % with them is 72.2%, the highest of all PL clubs, (although Klopp's win % is only 60.9%), City's win% under Kavanagh is 60%, although Pep's win % is 72.6%.

Taylor's said to support Utd, his family are season ticket holders, his win % for Utd is 56.1%, Incredibly the highest of all PL clubs! City's win % under Taylor is 52.9%. Remarkable considering our respective success over the last decade! Taylor has also given less penalties against Utd than any other of the big PL sides, almost 4 times less than he's given against City.

I agree we have to show up and try and take it out of their hands but the intention of the PL/Pigmol to try and nobble us in the next 2 fixtures is clear to see.
