We finished last season with 91 points and that's with KDB missing half of it and Haaland being out for 6 weeks. We will still be the favorites to win the league next season, and rightfully so.Then we will not be getting stronger and the other teans will start to catch us .
That being said, I would like us another midfielder to give Rodri some rest. We are royally fucked if he ever gets hurt.

KdB has reached the twilight of his super-powers. From now onwards, it is downhill for him, accumulation of injuries and ageing. It is inevitable, injuries await him this upcoming season. Nah mate, I think Pep will stay to be honest and it doesn’t make sense with transfers as the new guy will be in the same style and mould of football within the ethos ingrained in the club now? For example, I know some aren’t on the same page but Frimpong is a no brainer for me and Pep could really improve him and have some fun with him but say Alonso came in next summer then it’s a guy he already loves and would want?

More pertinently on being favourites. I don't perceive this as being arrogant it is factually accurate as far as the bookies are concerned.
We are not odds on which means the field is just about preferred over us , but we are clear favourites. It certainly does not mean we should be complacent and the odds may change significantly if we have not been seen to strengthen over the transfer window, currently though we are the ones to be shot at.

If we get the above 3, we'd probably have to move Alvarez and Jack. As barring injuries, there won't be enough minutes.
The general goal for me is to have technically superior players on the ball most of the time. With aggressive attacking players out wide in Doku, Rodrygo, Savio and Bobb. Scoring AMs in Foden and Rodrygo and setup AMs in Bernardo and Kev. And great ball possessing DMs in Rodri Neves and. Kovacic, Nunez being the wild card. And Walker as a specialist RB for games against top teams.
My biggest pet peeve from the past season was too many technically weaker players (i.e defenders) constituting a majority of our time of possession with the ball. So is be happy to see that reduced drastically.
I feel this would be a strong squad able to challenge at home and in the Europe.

Champions league like it or not is a major priority of the club and before Pep leaves I would think he would want at least one more CL medal in the bag to make his time with us legendary.
The signing of Mbappe makes Madrid much stronger and that young squad has another years experience under their belts.
We often looked leggy last season and uninspiring, Neves, Musala, Savio, Braithwaite and an emerging Bobb would be some exciting and athletic refresh.
Maybe Stefan Bowson's point about not splashing 100m on one player with this arbitration case still proceeding has a point, hopefully we are waiting for that to end before we start making serious moves in the market.

We have been well above 50% likelihood in seasons past, so Arsenal have certainly narrowed the gap in quality. Going to be a great season.

In that Scenario we have 6 players in the oppositions half cutting down every lane and forcing them to go long... Akanji and Gvardiol are pretty fast for defenders. So that will be advantage to us.
